Chinese manufacturers form the second-largest group in the Robolupa database: 57 profiles, one fewer than the United States (58). 50 of them have at least one described model, 120 models in total (as of 9 October 2026, n = 120). The profile count does not mean that many independent companies. The same brand is sometimes recorded under two names — AgiBot, EngineAI and ROBOTERA are examples — which is why we report manufacturers and models separately.
The product mix differs from the rest of the world. Humanoids make up 55 of 120 models (46%), against 30% across the whole database (104 of 343). Next come cobots and service robots (15 each) and quadrupeds (11). The best-represented firms — Unitree Robotics (14 models), Pudu Robotics (9), and Dobot, AgiBot and DEEP Robotics (5 each) — account for 38 models, or 32% of the catalogue. The rest is a long tail of 45 firms, 33 of which have one or two models.
Status says the most. 105 of 120 models (88%) are marked "on sale" in the database. Of the 55 Chinese humanoids, 41 are on sale; in the US it is 2 of 18, in Japan and Korea 2 of 10. That is a difference in market offer, not a verdict on quality: American and Japanese humanoids are largely prototypes and pilots, while Chinese ones increasingly come with a price list.
Prices look different too. For the 25 Chinese humanoids with a USD price, the range runs from 1,402 to 123,000 USD, with a median of 33,949 USD (n = 25). The bottom of the range is set by Noetix Bumi (about 1.4 thousand USD) and Unitree R1 (from 4.9 thousand USD), the top by Astribot S1. These are list prices from various sources, usually base versions, excluding tax and shipping, and a USD price exists for only 58 of 120 models, so treat them as orientation. For a reader in Poland, availability matters. 44 of 120 models (37%) are flagged as available in Poland, of which 13 are Unitree and 8 Pudu. 40 models have a named Polish seller attached, and for Chinese models the database knows 24 such sellers in total, not counting the Allegro, Ceneo and Kaufland platforms. Models with a Polish shop include the Hypershell X Pro and Hypershell X Ultra exoskeletons, the educational Makeblock mBot2 and, among the newest entries, the Unitree As2 quadruped, the PUDU MT1 service robot and the Segway Navimow X4 lawn mower. If you want an affordable quadruped or a humanoid for learning, start with “Unitree H1, G1, R1 and H2”; for restaurants and hotels see the category “Service robots” and the use-case page “Restaurant Robots: Waiters on Wheels and Baristas”. Before ordering, check on the robot's page who provides service and warranty and whether the quoted price includes tax and shipping. The strategies of the biggest players are covered in “Chinese Humanoid Robots”.

Frequently asked questions
How many Chinese robot manufacturers does Robolupa cover?
The database holds 57 profiles of manufacturers from China, 50 of which have at least one described model, 120 models in total. Some brands, such as AgiBot and EngineAI, have two profiles each, so the number of independent companies is lower.
Can Chinese robots be bought in Poland?
Some can. 44 of 120 models (37%) are flagged as available in Poland, mainly Unitree (13) and Pudu (8). For the rest, buying usually means importing directly from the maker, so check the distributor, service and warranty before ordering.
Which robot categories dominate among Chinese manufacturers?
Humanoids: 55 of 120 models (46%). Then cobots and service robots (15 each) and quadrupeds (11). The other categories have a handful of models or fewer.
What does the status "on sale" mean for a Chinese model?
That the maker or a seller offers the model for purchase; in the database that covers 105 of 120 models. It does not mean availability in Poland or a public price — we have USD prices for 58 models. Always check the robot's own page for details.
Where this list comes from
The collection is generated from the Robolupa catalogue by a fixed criterion described in the introduction and changes with the data. Prices in zloty come from Polish shops or are converted from foreign currencies (marked with an asterisk). How data are collected and checked is described on the page Methodology.
