What robotics pays in Poland

Poland's publicly available surveys contain no dedicated pay reports for strictly robotics occupations: robot integrator, robot programmer, cobot technician. The closest well-documented reference point is the occupation of automation engineer, closely tied to the robotization of production.

According to the Nationwide Salary Survey (Sedlak & Sedlak, as of January 2026, a sample of 956 people):

Experience level Gross range per month (PLN)
Junior Specialist 6,490 - 9,080
Specialist 8,330 - 11,980
Senior Specialist 9,960 - 14,640
Overall median 9,900
Lower quartile (Q1) 8,330
Upper quartile (Q3) 11,980

A further reference point is the PLC programmer: a value of PLN 10,790 appears on the same portal but without a median, quartiles or measurement date, so we treat it as an approximation. We do not publish specific job ads because they go stale quickly; look for them on job boards and with employers, for example among the integrators and the companies on the Polish robotics map. On the cost side for a company, we describe what a robot deployment costs in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Where to study automation and robotics

University Unit What it offers
Warsaw University of Technology Institute of Automatic Control and Robotics (Faculty of Mechatronics), ul. św. Andrzeja Boboli 8, Warsaw First-, second- and third-cycle studies, including programmes in English
AGH Kraków Department of Automatic Control and Robotics (KAiR), Faculty of EAIiIB, al. Mickiewicza 30 A master's programme "Automation and Robotics" with 4 specializations: computer control systems, intelligent control systems, computing in control and management, Cyber-Physical Systems (in English); two postgraduate programmes
Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice) Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, ul. Akademicka 16 A first-cycle engineering programme "Automation and Robotics", alongside Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence

Automation and Robotics or similar programmes are also offered by the technical universities of Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Łódź and Białystok; you will find programme details on their websites. For pupils and students starting out with robotics we wrote the guide “How to Start Learning Robotics in Poland” and a survey of hardware in “Educational Robots for Schools and Universities”. Research centres and universities are listed on the Polish robotics map.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an automation engineer earn in Poland?

According to the Nationwide Salary Survey (Sedlak & Sedlak, January 2026 data, a sample of 956 automation engineers) the median gross salary is PLN 9,900 a month, with a lower quartile of PLN 8,330 and an upper quartile of PLN 11,980. By experience: Junior Specialist PLN 6,490-9,080, Specialist PLN 8,330-11,980, Senior Specialist PLN 9,960-14,640. These figures are for the occupation of automation engineer, the closest publicly available counterpart of robotics occupations such as robot integrator or robot programmer.

Is there separate salary data for a robotics engineer or a robot integrator?

We know of no public pay report that singles out these roles. The only close reference point is the PLC programmer at about PLN 10,790, but it comes without a median, quartiles or measurement date, so treat it as a rough guide. The best way to see real ranges is to look at current job ads, because pay in robotics depends on city, industry and experience.

Where can you study automation and robotics in Poland?

The Automation and Robotics programme is offered by, among others, Warsaw University of Technology (Institute of Automatic Control and Robotics in the Faculty of Mechatronics), AGH in Kraków (Department of Automatic Control and Robotics, a master's programme with four specializations) and the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (a first-cycle engineering programme). Technical universities in Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Łódź and Białystok offer similar programmes; check each university's admissions page for details.

Which industry certifications are worth getting?

The main manufacturers run their own training: FANUC Academy (including a centre in Wrocław), KUKA College and UR Academy (Universal Robots, with free e-learning modules). Course names, prices and duration change, so check the current offer with the manufacturer before enrolling.

Does this section contain job ads?

No. Ads change daily, so we do not publish them; current listings are on pracuj.pl, No Fluff Jobs and Just Join IT and on employers' own sites, for example the integrators in our directory.
