mBot2 is Makeblock's second-generation classroom coding robot, a two-wheeled aluminium-chassis kit built around the CyberPi controller (ESP32, 240 MHz dual-core, colour screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). It ships with an ultrasonic sensor and a quad RGB line sensor, plus on-board light, sound and motion sensors, and is programmed in mBlock blocks, Python or Arduino C/C++.

Makeblock specifies a 90 mm height, top speed of 20 cm/s, a 2500 mAh battery and about 5 hours of play time. Strengths: low price, mature curriculum and compatibility with LEGO bricks and Makeblock parts. Limits: a toy-scale robot with small payload and simple sensing, not a ROS research platform.
