A window-cleaning robot holds itself to the glass by suction and drives across it on its own, spraying water or cleaning fluid. It is a small market, but Polish shops offer a real choice: the Robolupa catalogue lists 10 window-cleaning robots from 5 makers (ECOVACS, HOBOT, Kärcher, Sencor and ETA), each with a price from a Polish shop and data from the maker's spec sheet: suction, cleaning system, spray, backup battery and cable length.
Prices. The cheapest is the ETA Finestro Smart at PLN 394.49 (≈ EUR 90) and the most expensive the ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI at PLN 2,499 (≈ EUR 570) on promotion. Three models cost under PLN 700 (≈ EUR 160), four between PLN 1,199 (≈ EUR 275) and 1,698, and three between PLN 1,999 (≈ EUR 455) and 2,499. Half cost less than PLN 1,349 (≈ EUR 310). We checked prices on 10 October 2026 — some are promotions, and each model page shows the regular price and stock status.
Pad or discs, one spray or two. Six models clean with a square microfibre pad, which reaches corners better, and four with rotating discs. Seven have two spray units, while the three ECOVACS WINBOT W-series models have a single spray unit. The slimmest in the listing is the ECOVACS WINBOT mini 2 (5.5 cm).
Safety. Every model has a backup battery that holds the robot on the glass after a power cut — from 20 to 40 minutes (Kärcher RCW 2). Makers also quote suction from 3,000 to 10,000 Pa and cable lengths from 4 to 8 m where they publish them. Noise, where given, ranges from 62 to 70 dB(A).

Six models use a square microfibre pad (including the ECOVACS WINBOTs and the HOBOT 2S), four use rotating discs (including the HOBOT R3 and Kärcher RCW 2). The square shape reaches corners better; round discs handle tougher dirt but leave the corners untouched.
Can the robot clean windows from the outside?
Yes, as long as the safety rope can be attached securely, but very dirty glass and strong wind make results worse. The robot will not clean frames or window sills either.
