Shanghai-based Keenon Robotics serves several segments at once: delivery and waiter robots of the DinerBot series, C-series cleaning robots, heavy S-series autonomous transport carts (AMRs) and XMAN humanoid prototypes. That makes it one of the more versatile Chinese service-robot makers, present in more than 70 countries.

Against Pudu Robotics and Bear Robotics, with which it competes mainly in restaurants, Keenon relies on a broader product portfolio instead of a single niche. In Poland the robots are offered by netvet.pl, though the scale of this distribution is not documented. Three models are covered here: the C30 (cleaning), and the DinerBot T5 and DinerBot T8 (waiter robots).

The year of founding, funding and headcount are not given; the manufacturer does not disclose them publicly.

History and development

Shanghai's Keenon Robotics is one of those Chinese companies that took service robotics out of the lab and straight into the restaurant dining room. Today the manufacturer claims a presence in more than 70 countries and serves several segments at once: delivery and waiter robots of the DinerBot series, C-series cleaning robots, heavy S-series autonomous transport carts (AMRs) and XMAN humanoid prototypes. The year of founding, funding and headcount are not disclosed, so we do not offer a company chronicle with dates we cannot back up. Instead we describe how its playing field has evolved: from a single type of robot that carries plates to a portfolio covering floors, warehouses and first experiments with humanoids. That direction, widening the range instead of deepening a single niche, sets Keenon apart from some competitors. The background to the segment is covered in “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”, and cleaning in “Commercial Cleaning Robots in Practice”. What all the lines share is navigation based on stereo cameras and obstacle-detection sensors, which lets the robots work among people without supervision, for instance in corridors as narrow as 55 cm.

Portfolio

We cover three models here. Keenon DinerBot T8 is the larger of the waiter robots: three trays with a combined capacity of 20 kg, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, corridors from 55 cm wide, 34 kg weight, 111 cm height, speeds up to 1.0 m/s and up to 15 hours of operation. Price depends on the seller: an aggregator listed a range of $5,500–11,000 in July 2026, another shop $7,000–7,500. Keenon DinerBot T5 is compact, weighs 55 kg, has four trays and according to a US shop costs about $10,000; some parameters remain undisclosed. The third, Keenon C30, cleans three ways in one: it sweeps, vacuums and mops, weighs 35 kg, stands 75 cm tall and runs up to 6 hours, finding its way with three stereo cameras. All belong to the service robots category. For comparison: the T8 is lighter and taller than the T5 but has fewer trays, while the T5 fits an additional level. For cleaning, the C30 has a 61 cm cleaning width and 15,000 Pa of suction, enough for offices, hotels, shops and airports.

Market position

Keenon competes mainly in restaurants with Pudu Robotics and Bear Robotics, and in cleaning with Gausium. It bets on portfolio breadth rather than a single niche, which makes it easier to sell whole packages to hotels and venues. Bear Robotics, in turn, has high-profile deployments in American chains, and Pudu has built a global sales network; Keenon matches them in geographic reach, claiming more than 70 countries. We found no named Keenon customers, nor financial results. The weakness is the price divergence between sellers; the strength is concrete, verifiable offers in Poland for the C30. In practice, by our calculations a waiter robot pays for itself only after about two years of rental, provided the venue runs without interruption. Reference points: PuduBot 2 and Bear Robotics Servi. The service-robot segment is today the most commercially mature in all of robotics: it has an established sales model, clear use cases and real suppliers on the Polish market. Rental (RaaS) is becoming the standard here.

Presence in Poland

Keenon has a real presence in Poland. The Polish seller listed is netvet.pl, and for the DinerBots also edikson.com. The best-documented model is the C30: NetVet.pl rents it for PLN 2,390 (≈ EUR 550) net per month on a 12-month contract, or PLN 3,990 (≈ EUR 915) net with no commitment, plus PLN 200 (≈ EUR 46) per month for consumables; rental terms of 1, 12, 24 and 48 months are available. That comes to about PLN 31,000 (≈ EUR 7,100) a year including consumables. For the DinerBots, our earlier analysis did not confirm offers specifically from Polish sellers, so it is worth asking about availability before ordering. For restaurants and cafés see restaurants, for accommodation venues hotels.

Editorial verdict

Keenon is one of the best choices if you want a service robot with a genuine Polish offer. The C30 on rental has clear pricing, and the DinerBots are a solid, if variably priced, alternative to Pudu. It is wise to precede a purchase with a rental trial and a check of service with the Polish distributor. The biggest plus is the transparent price list, the biggest minus the scattering of offers. Start with a rental of a few months and calculate the return on investment on your own data.
