Enabot (Beijing Sichuang Technology)

Enabot is Beijing Sichuang Technology, the company behind the EBO line. It is no lab pioneer but a consumer-electronics maker that turned a camera into a small vehicle. The founding year, funding rounds and headcount are not confirmed, so we do not guess. What we do know are the product dates: the EBO SE went on sale in January 2022 and the EBO Air 2 in January 2024. Both models are offered by the company's store, Amazon and Walmart, which shows that the brand targets individual buyers, mainly in the US, rather than business orders. That is important context for a reader in Poland: this is a smart-home gadget, not a service robot with support and a deployment contract. The lineup has two items. Enabot EBO SE is the budget version, launched in January 2022, priced from USD 119.69 (about PLN 464 (≈ EUR 105) at our conversion). It has a 1080p camera and two-way audio, so you can not only watch but also speak to a family member or pet. Enabot EBO Air 2 arrived in January 2024, costs USD 189 (about PLN 733 (≈ EUR 170)) and is a ball-shaped camera with a laser for playing with pets. The price gap is under USD 70, and it buys you a newer design geared to interacting with your pet. Neither model is a robot in the sense of an arm or a humanoid: they do not grasp, carry or help with chores. They are mobile observation posts. Enabot plays in a segment filled by small electronics brands, not robotics giants. There is no data on valuation, funding or revenue in the sources, so we do not judge the company's scale. What is visible is the positioning: low price, sales through global platforms, and a target group of smart-home enthusiasts. Its direct neighbors in our coverage are EnergizeLab (Eilik) and Emotix (Miko), though they build companions with character, while Enabot builds a mobile camera, closer to a watchman than a friend. Another direction is Living.AI with the EMO robot (EMO) and Digital Dream Labs with Vector 2.0. The contest is over a customer's first home robot, someone who is only getting used to the idea. There are no institutional customers or corporate references in the sources. No Polish shop appears as an authorized Enabot distributor, and both models are recorded as not officially available in Poland. In practice, buying means importing from a foreign platform, which often means no local warranty and harder returns. We also know of no Polish deployments or university projects involving the robot. Enabot is a sensible, cheap way to find out whether a mobile camera works for you at all. It is not, however, a robot for work or an investment for years. The lack of a Polish distributor and warranty lowers its value for anyone counting on calm after-sales support.
