About Us

Updated: 28 September 2026

Robolupa exists for one reason: the market for robots — humanoid, collaborative, mobile and service — is growing faster than reliable sources of information can keep up. Technical specifications are scattered across datasheets, prices are known only to distributors, and comparisons online often repeat the same unverified figures from a single source. This English edition covers the same catalog as our Polish site and keeps a Polish market focus: prices are shown in PLN and availability refers to Poland.

Our mission: numbers with a source and a date

We aim for every number in the catalog — weight, payload, battery runtime, price — to carry a source and a date. If a manufacturer does not publish a given value, we show an empty field rather than an estimate presented as fact. We would rather show "—" than invent a number. Where sources conflict or are weak, we say so. The rules are described in our methodology.

What we do

  • We maintain a catalog of robot models with specifications, sources and prices in Poland.
  • We track availability at Polish distributors and shops.
  • We write guides and explainers (how a humanoid robot works, how to read a datasheet, Poland's robotization tax relief) — without jargon and without copying manufacturers' marketing material.
  • We maintain a directory of integrators and deployment companies operating in Poland.
  • We publish rankings with openly described criteria, in line with the requirements of the Polish consumer rights act as amended by the EU Omnibus Directive.

How our texts are written and how we check the data

Editorial texts (model profiles, manufacturer descriptions, guides, comparisons) are prepared with AI tools: AI models help collect information from datasheets and manufacturer websites and produce drafts, which the editorial team organizes and corrects. They are therefore not written from scratch by a human, one by one. This English edition is a translation of the Polish edition.

We check the data against primary sources on a sample basis, not page by page. In the latest round (28 September 2026) we compared 310 models with manufacturer material and found 330 discrepancies, about one per model on average. We correct them as we go, but we cannot rule out that individual errors remain in the catalog. Found a mistake? Write to editor@robolupa.com and we will check and fix it.

Independence

We are not a shop and we do not sell robots. In the future we may be funded by affiliate links to shops and distributors and by collaborations with integrators and sponsorship — always clearly labeled. No form of commercial cooperation influences the content of a product page or its position in a ranking. The ranking rules are public and described in the methodology, and the way the site is funded is explained on the How we make money page.
