Terms of Use

Updated: 3 October 2026

These terms set out the rules for using the Robolupa website (the "Site"), available at robolupa.com (English edition) and robolupa.pl (Polish edition), operated by OceanSphere Service Sp. z o.o., registered in Warsaw at ul. Nowogrodzka 31, 00-511 Warszawa, Poland, entered in the National Court Register under KRS 0001211680, NIP 7011291111, REGON 543507885 (the "Operator"). The Site is informational and comparative and is not an online shop — see section 1. The terms are published in accordance with Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means and are available free of charge at this address before any agreement for electronic services is concluded.

1. What the Site is

The Site collects and compares publicly available data on robots (humanoid robots, cobots, mobile robots, service robots and related categories): technical specifications, prices, availability at Polish distributors, manufacturer information and editorial material (guides, glossary, news). The Site is not an online shop — it does not sell robots, does not mediate sales contracts and does not accept payment for the goods shown in the catalog. A sales contract is concluded solely between the user and the shop or distributor to which a link on the product page leads.

2. Electronic services

The following are available free of charge and without registration: browsing the catalog and editorial content, search and the model comparison tool. Contact with the editorial team is by email (editor@robolupa.com).

The Site also provides a free enquiry form for deploying a robot (the Ask about a robot page and the form on a company page). The agreement for this service is concluded when the form is sent and ends once the enquiry has been handled; the user may terminate it at any time by withdrawing consent (editor@robolupa.com). The Operator reviews enquiries by hand and — only with the user's consent — passes them on to selected integrators or robot dealers. The Operator does not guarantee that a company will reply, or when, and is not a party to any agreement between the user and a company (see section 1). How the data from the form is processed is described in the Privacy Policy. Technical requirements: a current web browser with JavaScript support and an internet connection. The Site does not set its own cookies (details: Cookie Policy).

3. User obligations

The user agrees to use the Site in accordance with the law and good practice, in particular not to submit unlawful content (in forms), not to infringe the copyright of the Operator or third parties, and not to use automated tools for mass downloading of Site content (scraping) without the Operator's separate consent.

4. Nature of the data and disclaimer

Technical data, prices and availability information come from manufacturers' material, datasheets and distributors' websites. Editorial texts are prepared with the help of artificial-intelligence tools, and we compare data with primary sources on a sample basis (rules and results: Methodology). The English edition of the Site is a translation of the Polish edition. The Operator makes an effort to keep the data reliable but does not guarantee that it is fully up to date or error-free — the offer on the seller's website and the manufacturer's documentation are always authoritative. Detailed disclaimers on prices, availability and the absence of legal advice are in the separate document Disclaimers.

Some links to shops and distributors may be affiliate links — the Operator may receive a commission from the seller for referring the user, with no effect on the price the user pays. The rules for labeling such links and the Site's funding model are described in How we make money.

Editorial content (descriptions, guides, summaries, original graphics) is protected under the Polish Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights to the extent protection applies. Copying and further distribution of Site content without the Operator's consent is prohibited, except for quotation within the limits of fair use (Article 29 of the Act), with attribution.

Photos come from manufacturers' websites and materials, Wikimedia Commons (under the licences stated there) and other publicly available sources; under each photo we state the source or author. Manufacturer photos for which no licence is stated are used for information purposes, with the manufacturer named and a link to the product page; a list of the photos with their sources is on the Photo credits page. If you hold the rights to a photo or other material and do not want it shown on the Site, write to editor@robolupa.com stating the page and the material — after verifying the report, the material will be removed or replaced promptly.

Database protection. The producer of the database that the Site constitutes (the catalogue of models, manufacturers, prices and collections) is the Operator, OceanSphere Service Sp. z o.o. The database is protected under the Polish Act of 27 July 2001 on the Protection of Databases (Directive 96/9/EC). Without the Operator's consent it is prohibited to extract or re-utilise the whole or a substantial part of the database, or to repeatedly and systematically extract smaller parts of it. Quoting individual pieces of information with a credit to the source and a link to the page is permitted. Search engines, AI answer bots and AI training crawlers may access the Site under the rules in robots.txt, provided the source (Robolupa) is credited; this does not extend to bulk copying of the database.

7. Complaints

Comments on how the Site works, including reports of data errors, can be sent to editor@robolupa.com (see Contact). Complaints are handled within 14 days of submission. The reply is sent to the email address given in the report.

8. Final provisions

The Operator reserves the right to change these terms; changes are published here with a new update date. Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Act on the provision of services by electronic means.

These terms do not constitute legal advice.
