Honor (robotics division)

Honor, a Chinese smartphone maker known mainly from the mobile electronics market, is sometimes named as a possible new robotics player on the strength of a single mention in humanoid-robot roundups, with no confirmed model, no date of entry into robotics and no product description.

On its main website, hihonor.com, the company gives no information about robotics activity beyond smartphones and accessories, so the appearance of this mention among humanoid robot makers calls for caution. It may be a single concept project or technology demonstration rather than a standalone product line.

Without further verification it is impossible to judge Honor's position relative to Xiaomi (CyberOne) or other consumer-electronics makers entering robotics. There is no data on funding, headcount or presence in Poland. Until that verification happens, the topic remains open.
