Songyan Robotics is another name of the Beijing company Noetix Robotics (formally Beijing Songyan Power Technology Group), founded in 2023. The N1 and N2 humanoids are covered in the catalogue; the full company profile is in the Noetix Robotics entry.

History and development

The official website on file belongs to Noetix Robotics, and the N2 model appears in both profiles. The N2 took second place at a competition in Beijing's Yizhuang district, and the N1 and N2 together have drawn more than 2,000 orders. The manufacturer does not publish funding or headcount. Full company profile: Noetix Robotics; the wider picture of the Chinese humanoid market is in the article “Chinese Humanoid Robots”.

Portfolio

The portfolio is two humanoids, both on sale. Noetix N2 stands 118 cm tall, weighs about 30 kg, has 18 degrees of freedom (DOF), a payload of about 5 kg, a speed of 3.2-3.5 m/s and roughly 2 hours of battery life. The price is around USD 5,500-8,400 (the lower figure is about PLN 21,319 (≈ EUR 4,890 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026)). Its uses are research, industry and education: grasping, navigation and obstacle avoidance. Songyan N1 is less well documented: a bipedal humanoid from Beijing with no public price or specification, which sources mostly mention for having drawn more than 2,000 orders together with the N2. A figure that large should be treated with caution, because it does not say how many robots were actually delivered. For an explanation of the specifications, see “Degrees of Freedom (DOF) in Humanoid Robots”, and for price comparisons see “How Much Does a Humanoid Robot Cost in 2026”. Important: whenever a price is given as a range, always ask what the lower figure includes: the robot alone, or also the kit, controller and software. A price quoted in a roundup is not an offer. Likewise, the 2,000-order figure may include announcements and preliminary reservations. Before buying, ask for a datasheet. A robot with a 5 kg payload is not a tool for lifting loads but a platform for learning and demonstration. We cover this class in more depth in the category “Humanoid robots”.

Market position

We do not know Songyan's valuation or funding. Its position rests on two facts: the N2's silver medal in Yizhuang and more than 2,000 orders for the N1 and N2 combined. The picture is of a company competing on price in the low-cost humanoid segment. Rivals from the same market are Unitree Robotics with the Unitree G1, UBTECH Robotics and AgiBot. Noetix Robotics follows a similar low-price strategy; it is the same company under a different brand. No end customers have been named publicly. We have no independent durability tests or deployment results, so it is hard to judge how the robot performs after several months of work. The same questions should be put to every manufacturer in this segment. A price advantage only makes sense if it comes with support: updates, spare parts and documentation.

Presence in Poland

Songyan has no confirmed presence in Poland. Both models are marked as unavailable in the country, we do not know of a distributor, and no Polish deployments have been recorded. An interested school or laboratory would have to import the hardware itself. That is one more reason to learn to read manufacturer data before buying; the article “How to Read a Robot Datasheet” can help. Because information about the company is scattered, before any sales conversation you need to establish which legal entity you would actually be signing a contract with. This matters especially for warranty, invoicing and returns. If the robot is headed for a school, also ask about the software's language versions and who is responsible for updates.

Editorial verdict

Songyan is another name of Noetix Robotics: a strong price on the N2 and a competition medal, but little data about the company itself. Do not plan a purchase in Poland without a confirmed distributor. Full profile: Noetix Robotics.
