US Robot Manufacturers — Figure AI, Tesla, Boston Dynamics
Robot makers from the USA: 58 profiles, 58 models. Humanoids, exoskeletons, AMRs — what is on sale and what is still a prototype.
Key facts

- Data as of9 October 2026
The United States has the most manufacturer profiles in the database, 58, but fewer than half as many models as China: 58 against 120. 43 profiles have at least one described model (as of 9 October 2026, n = 58). The makeup of the group explains the gap: 15 of 58 profiles have no model in the database yet. They include firms that build software and AI models for robots, such as Skild AI and Physical Intelligence, and start-ups without a confirmed product.
The largest block is humanoids: 18 of 58 models (31%). Only 2 of them are on sale, though; 7 are prototypes, 5 are pilots, 3 are discontinued and 1 is a concept. The best-represented makers are Figure AI (4 models) and Tesla (4), followed by Boston Dynamics and Locus Robotics (3 each). Beyond humanoids, the American catalogue consists of AMR mobile robots (8), service robots (8), exoskeletons (6, see the category “Exoskeletons”) and educational robots (6).
Overall, 35 of 58 models (60%) are on sale. The rest are prototypes (8), pilots (7), discontinued (6), pre-order (1) and concept (1). Against China (88% of models on sale) and Europe (77%), that is clearly lower, which fits a market where the loudest announcements run ahead of deliveries.
Prices tell a similar story. A USD price exists for 13 of 58 models (22%). Among American humanoids only Tesla Optimus Gen 2 has a public figure: 30 thousand USD, and that is a second-hand estimate, not a manufacturer price list. Figure 03 reaches customers through fleet contracts with no public price. On funding the US stands out: Figure AI has 1.9 billion USD recorded in the database, one of the highest amounts in the entire set. Funding data exists for only a small share of profiles, though, so the comparison rests on a limited sample.
The Polish angle is thin. No American model is flagged in the database as available in Poland, and Amazon's two internal warehouse robots (Proteus and Sparrow) are not products you can buy. No American model has a Polish seller attached. Anyone wanting such a robot has to plan for import and check the service arrangements. What we know about the two most talked-about projects is set out in “Tesla Optimus: What We Actually Know (as of September 2026)” and “Figure 03: What We Know About Figure AI's Third-Generation Robot”, and real costs in “How Much Does a Humanoid Robot Cost in 2026”.
Who is this hub for? For people following the humanoid market who want to tell an announcement from a product, and for teams looking for exoskeletons: Ekso Bionics and Lifeward have two models each, and the newly added Myomo brings the upper-limb exoskeleton Myomo MyoPro 2x. Warehouse operators will find Agility Robotics, whose Digit humanoid works in logistics according to the description in the database, as well as AMR robots such as Locus Vector, which we compare on the use-case page “Warehouse and logistics”.

Where this list comes from
The collection is generated from the Robolupa catalogue by a fixed criterion described in the introduction and changes with the data. Prices in zloty come from Polish shops or are converted from foreign currencies (marked with an asterisk). How data are collected and checked is described on the page Methodology.
