Guide

Home robots in this category are devices meant to keep you company, watch over your home or help with chores: companion robots, robot pets, mobile cameras on wheels and the first home humanoids. It is a young market — unlike cleaning and mowing robots, most models are only just reaching the shops, and only a few can be bought off the shelf in Poland.

Robot vacuums (with mopping) are covered in their own category, “Robot vacuums”, and robot lawn mowers in robot lawn mowers — both with prices from Polish shops; window-cleaning robots are in window-cleaning robots.

How to choose a home robot

First decide what the robot is for: play and company, keeping an eye on the home and pets, or real help with chores. Models already on sale cover the first two; help with housework is promised today mainly by humanoids in pre-order and pilot programmes.

Check whether warranty service is available in Poland, whether there are subscriptions (some features only work in the maker's cloud) and the app's privacy policy — a robot with a camera and microphone sees and hears the inside of your home. With cloud-dependent devices, consider what happens if the maker shuts its servers down.

Buying guide

Buying guide: Home robots in Poland

The home robot market in 2026: what you can actually buy

Our listing of home robots contains 13 models from 11 manufacturers. Only eight are on regular sale: the Amazon Astro, Vector 2.0, Eilik, EMO, Enabot EBO Air 2, Enabot EBO SE, Loona Petbot and Sony aibo ERS-1000. The other five are in pre-order (the Weave Isaac 1), in a pilot (the Sunday Robotics Memo), a prototype (the LG CLOiD) and two concepts (the LG Q9 and the Samsung Ballie).

In Poland we have confirmed the availability of one model: the Loona Petbot can be bought at Media Expert, on Kaufland.pl and via Ceneo, and offers in Polish online shops start at PLN 2,099 (≈ EUR 480) (proshop.pl) and reach PLN 2,499 (≈ EUR 570) (x-kom.pl) for the Premium edition. The other models are sold by the manufacturers or by Amazon with shipping from abroad, with no Polish distributor and no Polish warranty.

The prices we know range from about PLN 465 (≈ EUR 105) (the Enabot EBO SE, about USD 120) to about PLN 77,500 (≈ EUR 17,730) (the Sunday Robotics Memo, a hand-built unit at about USD 20,000). These are conversions from US dollars at about PLN 3.8762 per USD, so treat them as indicative, and add customs duty, VAT and shipping to get the real cost.

An important caveat: robot vacuums, lawn mowers and window-cleaning robots have their own categories (robot vacuums, robot lawn mowers and window-cleaning robots). Here we focus on companion robots, home assistants and humanoids that are only now entering homes.

Types of home robots

Desktop companion robots and advanced toys: the EMO, Eilik and Vector 2.0. Small, with animated expressions, they react to touch and voice. They do no housework; they are devices for play and company.

Pet robots: the Sony aibo ERS-1000 (a robot dog) and the Loona Petbot. The Aibo is the most refined model in this group, but it needs an AI Cloud subscription.

Wheeled camera robots and monitoring: the Amazon Astro (with Alexa), the Enabot EBO SE and the Enabot EBO Air 2 (watching the home and playing with pets). The business variant of the Astro was withdrawn and remotely disabled in September 2024.

Humanoid home helpers: the 1X NEO, Weave Isaac 1 and Sunday Robotics Memo. They are meant to fold laundry, tidy up and make coffee. Today they are pre-orders and pilots, mainly in the USA. We wrote about them in “1X Neo Home Robot on Pre-Order” and in the home section.

What to look for when buying

1. Is it really on sale

Start with the status. A model in pre-order has no final price or delivery date you can check. The Weave Isaac 1 costs USD 7,999, but first deliveries were planned for autumn 2026 in California, with wider availability in the USA only in 2027. A deposit on a waiting list is a capital risk.

2. Subscriptions and dependence on the cloud

Many robots work at full capability only with a subscription. The Vector 2.0 costs USD 249.99, but voice and cloud functions need another USD 11.99 a month or USD 99.99 a year. The Sony aibo ERS-1000 (USD 2,899.99) comes with a three-year AI Cloud plan and then costs about USD 300 a year. Ask what happens if the manufacturer switches off its servers. Embodied did exactly that with the Moxie robot in January 2025, and devices without locally installed software became useless.

3. Privacy: cameras and microphones in the bedroom

A robot in the home sees and hears what no vacuum cleaner ever will. Check whether the cameras can be physically covered (the Isaac 1 has shutters), where recordings go and whether you can set no-go zones. For the 1X NEO the manufacturer admits that an operator can take over remotely for tasks the robot has not yet mastered. We cover the legal side in “Data Security: Robots with Cameras and the GDPR”.

4. Warranty and servicing in Poland

With direct import the warranty is foreign, and a repair means shipping abroad. The only model with Polish distribution, the Loona Petbot, has an edge here.

5. Real usefulness

Ask what the robot will do without your help. Desktop robots entertain but do not help. Home humanoids promise help, but so far mostly in demonstration videos. Manufacturers admit that some tasks are carried out by teleoperators.

6. Safety of children and pets

Moving parts, arm reach and speed matter in a home with small children. Check the stated safeguards and certificates, not just marketing slogans.

7. Cost of ownership

Add the subscription, battery replacement, accessories and any shipping to a service centre. We describe the basics of the calculation in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Price classes

Up to about PLN 1,100 (≈ EUR 250): small desktop robots and cameras. The Enabot EBO SE (about PLN 464 (≈ EUR 105)), Enabot EBO Air 2 (about PLN 733 (≈ EUR 170)), Eilik (about PLN 771 (≈ EUR 175)), Vector 2.0 (about PLN 969 (≈ EUR 220)) and EMO (about PLN 1,080 (≈ EUR 245)). All without a Polish distributor.

PLN 2,000–11,000 (≈ EUR 455–2,520): pet robots and assistants. The Loona Petbot (PLN 2,099–2,499 (≈ EUR 480–570) in Polish shops), Amazon Astro (about PLN 5,600 (≈ EUR 1,280)) and Sony aibo ERS-1000 (about PLN 11,200 (≈ EUR 2,560)). For the Aibo, sales in Japan are due to end in 2026, so check what that means for future support.

From about PLN 31,000 (≈ EUR 7,090): home humanoids. The Weave Isaac 1 (USD 7,999, about PLN 31,000 (≈ EUR 7,090)), Sunday Robotics Memo (about PLN 77,500 (≈ EUR 17,730) for a hand-built unit) and 1X NEO (USD 20,000 or USD 499 a month). None has a confirmed distributor in Poland.

Subsidies and financing in Poland

We have found no subsidy programme for a private person buying a home robot. The robotisation tax relief is intended for businesses and applies to industrial robots, so it does not cover consumer devices; we describe the mechanism in “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”. We have not confirmed any municipal or foundation programmes supporting technology for seniors, and we will not suggest that they exist.

Buy now or wait

The answer depends on what you expect. If you want a robot for play, company or keeping an eye on a pet, the market offers mature, inexpensive products and there is no reason to wait, as long as you count the subscription. If you expect a robot to wash the dishes and fold the laundry, the honest answer is: not yet. Models such as the Weave Isaac 1 or Sunday Robotics Memo are at the stage of first deliveries or a pilot in the USA, and the manufacturers themselves forecast lower costs only with serial production. Sunday Robotics counts on at least a halving of cost through mass production, but the serial price is not known. A sensible strategy is to watch the market, sign up for the news list, pay no money, and come back when a Polish distributor appears with a clear warranty.

Robots for seniors and families with children

The market for assistants for seniors is at an early stage. What is available is mainly simple devices that remind people to take medication and enable video calls, while advanced robots offering physical help operate in pilots, mostly outside Poland. In families with children, companion robots such as the Loona Petbot or EMO are a better fit. Still, treat them as toys rather than carers, and check that a child is not left alone with a microphone connected to the cloud.

The most common buyer mistakes

  • Buying a "home robot" on the strength of a demo video. Check how many tasks the robot performs autonomously.
  • Leaving the subscription out of the calculation. After a year it can make up a significant part of the price.
  • Paying a deposit for a robot with no delivery date in Poland.
  • Buying from a manufacturer in trouble: the maker of Moxie switched off its servers, and a dispute over unfulfilled orders was opened in 2024 against Digital Dream Labs, the publisher of the Vector.
  • Ignoring privacy: a camera in a child's room is not the same as a camera in the hallway.
  • Expecting a companion robot to replace a carer for a senior. This market is at an early stage.

How we check the data

For every price we give a source and a date. We treat a price from a shop in Poland as more important than a manufacturer's price in dollars, and we mark conversions as indicative. When a price depends on configuration, we show the variant it refers to. We consider availability in Poland confirmed only when we find a specific seller, not a general statement about "shipping to Europe". Models whose data fail our check do not make it into the listing. If you find an error, write to us and we will correct it with a note.

When comparing offers, compare the same variant. The price of the Loona Petbot refers to the Premium package with a charging station and play accessories, and the Vector's price does not include the subscription. A difference of a few hundred zlotys between shops is often simply a difference in what is in the box. Always check, too, when the price was collected, because foreign offers change from month to month.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a robot vacuum cost in 2026?

Robot vacuums are covered in their own category, Robot vacuums: 29 models with prices from Polish shops, from PLN 549 (≈ EUR 125), with a median of PLN 1,999 (≈ EUR 455) (prices checked on 10 October 2026).

Does a robotic lawn mower need a boundary wire?

Less and less often: in the Robot lawn mowers category only 4 of 26 models need a boundary wire; the rest navigate by RTK, camera or LiDAR.

What is the difference between a home robot and an advanced vacuum cleaner?

The line is blurry — this category collects companion robots, assistants, mobile cameras and home humanoids. Robot vacuums and lawn mowers have their own categories, and simple remote-controlled toys are left out.

Are there already truly useful assistant robots for seniors?

The market is at an early stage — what is available are mainly simple devices that remind people to take medication and enable video calls, while more advanced companion robots offering physical help are still in the pilot phase, mostly outside Poland.

Can I buy a robot in Poland that cleans and folds laundry?

No. The Weave Isaac 1, Sunday Robotics Memo and 1X NEO are in pre-order or pilot, with deliveries planned first in the USA. None has a confirmed distributor in Poland.

Which home robot can I buy in Poland today?

We have confirmed one: the Loona Petbot, available at Media Expert, on Kaufland.pl and via Ceneo. In Polish online shops it costs from PLN 2,099 (≈ EUR 480) (proshop.pl) to PLN 2,499 (≈ EUR 570) (x-kom.pl) for the Premium edition.

Do home robots require a subscription?

Many do. The Vector 2.0 needs USD 11.99 a month or USD 99.99 a year for voice and cloud functions, and the Sony aibo comes with a three-year AI Cloud plan, after which it costs about USD 300 a year. Add this to the price.

What happens if the manufacturer switches off its servers?

Cloud-dependent devices may stop working. That is what happened with the Moxie robot: the manufacturer switched off its servers on 30 January 2025, and devices without previously installed local software became useless.

Does a home robot work completely on its own?

Not always. For the 1X NEO the manufacturer admits that tasks the robot has not mastered may be carried out under remote control by an operator. Check this before buying, because it means an outsider has access to the inside of your home.

Does the listing include robot vacuums and lawn mowers?

They have their own categories: Robot vacuums (29 models) and Robot lawn mowers (26 models), both with prices from Polish shops. Window-cleaning robots have their own category, Window-cleaning robots (10 models).
