The Bot Company is led by Kyle Vogt, the former CEO of Cruise, backed by Paril Jain and Luke Holoubek, who also come from Tesla and Cruise. The company is not building a humanoid but a mobile robot on a wheeled base with gripping arms, meant for cleaning and tidying the home; the only model described here is still unnamed and at the prototype stage.
The target customers are families with two working parents, children and pets, and later short-term rentals, senior care or small offices. The stated price ceiling of under $10,000 puts the project well below humanoids such as Tesla's Optimus or Figure ($20,000-30,000), making it an interesting specialized alternative rather than a general-purpose one.
There is no information on availability in Poland or a launch date.
