More than 350 units of the Figure 03 have already left the BotQ factory. It is the third generation of the humanoid from the American company Figure AI, 9% lighter than its predecessor Figure 02, with hands that have 16 degrees of freedom (versus 12 in Figure 02) and tactile sensors with a resolution of 3 g per fingertip.
The robot stands 172 cm tall, weighs 61 kg, has 35 degrees of freedom across the whole body and a 20 kg payload, and one battery cycle lasts up to 5 hours, with 2 kW fast charging. Control comes from Figure's own Helix model; the company ended its collaboration with OpenAI and now develops the software entirely in-house.
Production pace rose from one unit a day to one per hour in fewer than 120 days, and the robot is already working at the BMW plant in Spartanburg as part of a Physical AI project. Among other industrial humanoids, such as the care-oriented Fourier GR-3 or the military-focused Foundation Phantom, the Figure 03 stands out for the speed at which it scales production and iterates its AI model.
The weakness: the manufacturer gives no public price, deployments remain at the pilot stage with individual industrial customers, and the robot isn't available in Poland. The model is aimed at large industrial and logistics plants, not at individual customers.

Running and deployment costs
Figure AI doesn't publish a public price for the Figure 03; the robot goes to customers under B2B fleet agreements, including with BMW. That's why there is no purchase price in our catalog.
What we know from announcements: in May 2026 the company's CEO announced home leasing of the Figure 03 for USD 600 a month (roughly PLN 2,330 (≈ EUR 535 at NBP rate 4.3716 of 20 October 2026) a month, at the exchange rate used in our catalog), but that concerns the future home version, the Figure 03, not an offer for Polish companies. In June 2026 the company said it operates 740 robots in its own facilities against 600 employees. Production is growing: more than 350 units by April 2026 and the thousandth unit in July, at a pace of about one robot per hour at the BotQ factory.
Add to the calculation: 2 kW fast charging and a station, integration, service, training, insurance, and the cost of data and cloud. As a rough estimate, every humanoid in a factory costs more per year than the depreciation of the robot alone; the calculation method is described in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”, and competitors' prices are compared in “How Much Does a Humanoid Robot Cost in 2026”. Check with an advisor whether a humanoid qualifies. Key components of this class, such as the NVIDIA Jetson compute modules or the Xela Robotics tactile sensors, are described as examples, not as a confirmed makeup of this robot.

Applications
What it's for
The Figure 03 is one of the few humanoids today of which it can be said: it works, rather than just posing. At the BMW plant in Spartanburg the robot operates as part of a Physical AI project, a documented deployment in the automotive industry (factories). According to company announcements, Figure 03 robots work at corporate customers at a pace close to a human's, and in August 2026 a video was shown of the robot climbing a ladder autonomously thanks to improved perception in the Helix model.
The robot stands 172 cm tall, has a 20 kg payload and hands with 16 degrees of freedom, touch sensors in the fingertips with a force resolution of 3 g, cameras in the palms and a wide-angle vision system; it is controlled by the company's own Helix model (see “VLA Models: How AI Controls Humanoid Robots in 2026”). A full battery charge lasts about 5 hours, but 2 kW fast charging shortens the breaks.
Where else? Logistics and handling: the direction given in the data is industry and logistics (warehouses), though we have no documented warehouse deployments. The home version, the Figure 03, has been announced but without a specification, price or date (the manufacturer is aiming for 2028), so applications in the home are for now a promise. We discuss several contexts, including doubts, in “Figure 03: What We Know About Figure AI's Third-Generation Robot” and in “Humanoid Robots in Factories 2026”.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Yes: for large industrial and logistics plants that can enter a B2B fleet contract and have a team able to run a pilot. Yes for innovation departments in the automotive sector; BMW is the best reference point here. Yes for market analysts, because Figure AI (valued at USD 39 billion) sets the pace for the whole industry (Figure AI).
No: for individual customers or small companies. The robot isn't offered in Poland, has no public price, and deployments remain at the pilot stage with individual customers. Not for Polish plants looking for delivery "tomorrow"; the Unitree H2 or a cobot (cobots) will make more sense. And not for those who need certainty about the privacy of camera data: a robot with cameras on the shop floor is a GDPR matter (“Data Security: Robots with Cameras and the GDPR”), and safety standards for humanoids are still in flux (“Robot Safety Standards”).
Deployments
Best documented: BMW Group, Spartanburg plant (USA), the Physical AI project, in which the Figure 03 took over from the Figure 02. BMW and Figure AI say that the Figure 02/03 robots supported the production of more than 30,000 BMW X3 vehicles over ten months. Beyond BMW, the company speaks of work at corporate customers without disclosing their names, and of its own fleet of 740 robots.
In the category, pilots are also run by the Apptronik Apollo (Mercedes-Benz, GXO, Jabil) and the Boston Dynamics Atlas (Hyundai). A general overview and the questions that don't yet have answers are gathered in “Humanoid Robots in Factories 2026”; the impact on the labor market is discussed in “Humanoid Robots and the Polish Labor Market”.
Comparison
A few realistic options, depending on what you're looking for.
Apptronik Apollo: 71 DOF, 173 cm, 25 kg payload; pilots at Mercedes-Benz, GXO Logistics and Jabil. The choice if you already work with one of these players.
Atlas: 190 cm, 90 kg, 50 kg payload, 56 degrees of freedom; stronger, but 2026 production is reserved for Hyundai and Google DeepMind.
Agility Digit 5: 22.7 kg payload (40% more than v4), early access from H1 2027; geared toward logistics.
Tesla Optimus Gen 3: similar physically (173 cm, 57 kg according to reports), but formally not yet unveiled; for now it's a promise.
Unitree H2: 180 cm, 70 kg, 31 DOF, about PLN 115,900 (≈ EUR 26,510) in our catalog and available in Poland; the only option on this list that you can realistically order.

History
The Figure 03 has three years of lineage. In March 2023 the company showed the Figure 01, in August 2024 the Figure 02 with hands close to human grip strength and a VLA model. In October 2025 the Figure 03 was unveiled, a lighter third-generation humanoid, 9% lighter than its predecessor. The company ended its collaboration with OpenAI and develops the software on its own in the Helix model.
2026 milestones: in March the Figure 03 appears at a White House event on AI education; in April the company delivers more than 350 units; in May the CEO announces home leasing and the closure of the Figure 04 project; in July the thousandth unit is built; in September Figure AI signs a partnership with Nscale to deploy up to 100,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs (initial commitment USD 3.5 billion, deployment from the second half of 2027). In August it launched Index, a platform collecting data on how people work (Figure AI).
