Three products in one portfolio show how Built Robotics has evolved: from the AI Guidance System (2018, a retrofit that lets excavators dig and grade autonomously), through Exosystem (2021, an aftermarket autonomy kit built on GPS, cameras and AI, switchable between autonomous and manual mode and compatible with Caterpillar, Hitachi, John Deere and Volvo equipment), to the RPD 35 (2023, a robotic pile driver for utility-scale solar installations).

The San Francisco company was founded in 2016 by Noah Ready-Campbell and Andrew Liang, and its funding has reached $112 million across three rounds from investors such as Tiger Global, Next47, NEA and Founders Fund.

In construction autonomy it competes indirectly with Carbon Robotics (agriculture) and Canvas (interior finishing), each of which has picked a different niche within the same wave of job-site automation. Headcount and any presence in Poland are unconfirmed.
