Unitree Robotics
Unitree Go2 (Air/Pro/EDU)
81/ 100 ptsThe Unitree Go2 wins decisively: it is the only quadruped in the ranking with confirmed retail sales in Poland (mediaexpert.pl), from about PLN 9,900 (≈ EUR 2,260) for the Air variant (USD 1,600 at the manufacturer). A payload of up to 10 kg and a speed of 5 m/s, with a still modest 1-2 hours of battery life, don't make it an industrial robot, but a huge developer community and the lowest entry threshold in the segment make it the natural place to start.

MAB Robotics Sp. z o.o.
MAB Robotics Honey Badger 4.0
62/ 100 ptsThe Honey Badger 4.0 from Poznan's MAB Robotics is the only Polish quadruped in our lineup, and the only one with a real, multi-year municipal deployment: since 2023 it has inspected the district heating network and sewers in Poznan, with a unique ability to work underwater (IP67). The manufacturer publishes no price list, selling only through direct contact, and the 4 kg payload is modest next to Chinese industrial rivals, but the credibility of the local deployment makes up for the gaps in the specification.

Boston Dynamics
Boston Dynamics Spot
60/ 100 ptsSpot remains the most field-proven quadruped in the world, with thousands of units working in industrial inspection, mining and construction since 2020, backed by an extensive SDK and developer community. It is sold only through corporate contracts, however (estimated at USD 74,500, about PLN 288,800 (≈ EUR 66,060)), with no confirmed channel in Poland, and its battery life of 90 minutes and IP54 protection are weaker than newer competitors'.

DEEP Robotics Lynx / Lynx M20 ProDEEP Robotics (Hangzhou Deep Robotics) · 69,800 PLN* (≈ EUR 15,970)The DEEP Robotics Lynx is a wheel-leg hybrid that clears obstacles up to 80 cm and slopes up to 45 degrees, using wheel speed wherever the terrain allows. The starting price of USD 17,999 (about PLN 69,800 (≈ EUR 15,970)) is competitive with the Boston Dynamics Spot, but the product reached the market only in 2025, so it has no long deployment history yet, and its IP66 rating is lower than the IP67 of its rivals.

5
Unitree B2Unitree Robotics · 387,600 PLN* (≈ EUR 88,660)The Unitree B2 has the strongest mechanical performance in the category: a 40 kg payload in continuous operation (120 kg static), a speed of more than 6 m/s and 5 hours on a 2.25 kWh battery. Price discrepancies between sources (from USD 76,900 to as much as 296,000) and the lack of named industrial or rescue deployments mean the specification should be treated with caution until independently verified.

6
Xiaomi CyberDog 2Xiaomi Corporation · 7,000 PLN* (≈ EUR 1,600)
The CyberDog 2 is the cheapest consumer offer after the Go2, at USD 1,800 (about PLN 6,980 (≈ EUR 1,600)) in China, though with no official distribution in Europe, so importing means customs duty and no warranty. Ubuntu with ROS2 on board and CyberGear micro-actuators that enable flips make it an interesting developer platform, but a battery life of 1.5 h and the absence of payload data rule out anything more serious than hobby and demonstration use.

7
DEEP Robotics Lite3DEEP Robotics (Hangzhou Deep Robotics) · 11,200 PLN* (≈ EUR 2,560)The Lite3 is DEEP Robotics' compact research and education platform: 12 kg in weight, ROS2-ready with an open SDK, available from USD 2,890 (about PLN 11,200 (≈ EUR 2,560)) in the base version. A 4.5 kg payload and no confirmed top speed put it clearly below industrial models, but it is a sensible choice for universities and labs entering legged robotics without a budget of tens of thousands of dollars.

8
Unitree B2-WUnitree Robotics · 344,600 PLN* (≈ EUR 78,830)The B2-W is a B2 variant with retractable wheels in each leg, reaching up to 15 km/h on flat ground while keeping full legged mobility on stairs and uneven terrain, a combination unique in this lineup. The price from USD 88,900 (about PLN 344,600 (≈ EUR 78,830)) comes solely from resellers, with no official Unitree price list, and the application remains niche (last-mile transport).

9
Unitree A2Unitree Robotics · 387,600 PLN* (≈ EUR 88,660)The Unitree A2 is positioned between the B2 and the top competing platforms: 25 kg payload, 5 m/s, dual hot-swappable batteries. The price is strikingly inconsistent between sources, however (from USD 31,900 to 100,000 in Unitree's store, where the figure looks like a placeholder that requires contacting the sales department), and the model is too new (2025) to have independent field reviews.

10
ANYbotics ANYmal DANYbotics AGThe Swiss ANYmal D has the most extensive sensor suite in the ranking (thermal camera, 360-degree LiDAR, 20x optical zoom) and is an established player in European industrial inspection (energy, mining). A top speed of only 0.75 m/s and 1.5 h of battery life are clearly weaker than Chinese competitors', however, and the manufacturer publishes no price at all: pricing is by quotation only.

Ghost Robotics Vision 60 (Q-UGV)Ghost Robotics · 581,400 PLN* (≈ EUR 132,990)The Vision 60 is a platform designed from the ground up for military and facility-security use, with IP67 certification and an operating range of -40 to 55 degrees C. It is sold only through government and defense channels, at around USD 150,000 (about PLN 581,430 (≈ EUR 133,000)), with fully configured tactical units exceeding USD 250,000, a segment entirely removed from the civilian and industrial uses described in the other entries of this ranking.

12
DEEP Robotics X30DEEP Robotics (Hangzhou Deep Robotics) · 252,000 PLN* (≈ EUR 57,640)The X30 is marketed as a platform for autonomous inspection in harsh conditions (power plants, tunnels, mines, GPS-denied environments), with an IP67 rating and a range of -20 to 55 degrees C. The manufacturer gives no data on payload, speed or battery life, however, and the price of about USD 65,000 (about PLN 252,000 (≈ EUR 57,640)) comes solely from resellers: too big an information gap to recommend it without additional verification.

Ranking criteria
The score is the sum of the points for each criterion (100 at most). The weights are disclosed.
-
Sales channel and availability 25%
Can the robot be bought through an open retail channel or a distributor, ideally with a confirmed presence in Poland, or only through government/defense contracts or "on request" offers?
-
Price and value 20%
Transparency and level of the price relative to the capabilities offered, from cheap consumer platforms to military hardware costing hundreds of thousands of dollars.
-
Mechanical performance 25%
Payload, top speed, battery life and environmental resistance (IP rating, temperature range), as confirmed by the manufacturer.
-
Applications and deployment evidence 20%
Documented, preferably named deployments with real customers or institutions, not just the manufacturer's demo videos.
-
Ecosystem/SDK 10%
Availability of a development kit, ROS2 compatibility and the size of the community of programmers building their own applications on the platform.
Methodology. Scores add up to 100 across five categories. Mechanical performance (25%) and sales channel/availability (25%) weigh the same because in this category, unlike humanoids, a large share of models are already genuinely on sale, so both factors matter equally to a buyer. Applications and deployment evidence (20%) favors documented, named deployments (a specific city, plant or institution) over generic marketing material, hence the high position of the Honey Badger despite its lack of an open price. Price and value (20%) takes into account both transparency and the amount. Ecosystem/SDK (10%) rates the maturity of the programming tools. The ranking includes every model with an on-sale status.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a quadruped robot manufacturer in Poland?
Yes. MAB Robotics of Poznan makes the Honey Badger, the only Polish quadruped we cover, used since 2023 to inspect the district heating network and sewers in Poznan, with a unique ability to work underwater.
Can the Unitree Go2 be legally bought and used in Poland?
Yes, the Go2 is sold by mediaexpert.pl. Keep in mind, though, that using drone-like mobile robots with a camera in public space may be subject to personal data protection rules (GDPR, known in Poland as RODO) and local regulations, so check before any commercial use.
Why didn't Boston Dynamics Spot, the world's best-known robot dog, take first place?
Because our criteria strongly reward real purchasing availability, and Spot is sold only through corporate contracts with no confirmed channel in Poland, at an estimated price of about USD 74,500. Despite the longest deployment history in the world, these factors lower its position relative to cheaper, more easily available competitors.
What is the difference between a "consumer" and an "industrial" quadruped?
Consumer models (Go2, CyberDog 2) cost USD 1,500-2,000, have limited environmental resistance and short battery life, and are meant mainly for learning, demonstrations and hobbies. Industrial models (B2, Lynx, ANYmal, X30) cost tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars, carry IP67 ingress-protection ratings, run longer and are designed for independent, multi-year work in demanding plant conditions.
