Available in PolandThe Unitree Go2 is one of the most popular robot dogs on the market, offered in three variants: Air (entry level), Pro (stronger motors and sensors) and EDU (a research version with full SDK and ROS2). It weighs 15 kg, has 12 joint motors, a payload of up to 8 kg, a speed of up to 3.5 m/s, a 230 Wh battery giving about 1.5 hours of operation, and a 4D LiDAR (360°×96° field of view) along with an HD camera.
Voice control based on a GPT-type model and gaits trained with reinforcement learning (RL) are features rarely seen in this price class. Prices diverge even at the manufacturer itself: Unitree's homepage lists USD 1,600, while the product page lists USD 2,800 for the Pro variant, so we treat USD 1,600 as the starting point for the Air variant.
Compared with the Boston Dynamics Spot, the Go2 is many times cheaper, though it has a distinctly lower payload and shorter runtime. In Poland you can buy the Go2 through, among others, mediaexpert.pl. A good model for hobbyists, education and simple inspection tasks, less so for professional industrial deployments.

Data from manufacturer datasheets and product pages; median over the models of this category in the database.
Lowest price at a Polish shop (deltarobots.com, 2026-09-28); the manufacturer's USD price (USD 1,600, before tax and duty) is lower because it excludes VAT, customs duty and the seller's margin. Entry-level Air from about USD 1,600–2,590; Pro from USD 2,800–3,990; the EDU (research) version from about USD 11,190. Prices depend heavily on the source; Unitree itself quotes USD 1,600 (homepage) or USD 2,800 (product page).
Go2 prices diverge even at the manufacturer itself: USD 1,600 on the homepage, USD 2,800 on the product page. In Polish shops the picture is clearer (data from 27 September 2026): the Air costs from PLN 9,900 (≈ EUR 2,270) (deltarobots.com) to PLN 12,000 (≈ EUR 2,750) (x-kom), with popular offers of PLN 11,840 (≈ EUR 2,710) (drony.net, Ceneo) and PLN 11,999 (≈ EUR 2,750) (botland). The Pro is PLN 21,399–21,400 (≈ EUR 4,900–4,900) (komputronik, drony.net), the X variant about PLN 35,000 (≈ EUR 8,020), the EDU Standard PLN 35,900 (≈ EUR 8,230) and the EDU Plus PLN 89,000 (≈ EUR 20,390).
Additional costs are small compared with industrial robots, but they exist. As estimates: a spare battery (a few hundred zloty; the amount is an estimate), a decent development laptop, possibly an extra compute module with a Jetson. Training is essentially not needed unless the robot is to be programmed; then it is worth planning weeks of an engineer's work.
For universities and schools, grants and education programs are a more sensible direction, and we write about robots in schools in the text “Educational Robots for Schools and Universities”. We describe a detailed review with prices in “Unitree Go2 Review: Prices and the Air, Pro, X and EDU Versions”.

The Unitree Go2 most often works in robotics labs at technical universities; it is one of the most popular robot dogs on the market. It weighs 15 kg, has 12 joint motors, a payload of up to 8 kg and a speed of up to 3.5 m/s.
The first use is teaching and research (universities, schools). The EDU version has a full SDK and ROS2, so students can write their own gaits and even attach a module with an NVIDIA Jetson GPU (NVIDIA Jetson). Voice control based on a GPT-type model and gaits trained with reinforcement learning are, according to descriptions, features rarely seen in this price class.
The second: demonstrations and shows (events, retail). The robot suits greeting guests and demonstrations at a trade-fair stand or in a showroom. It works for about 1.5 hours on one charge, which is enough for a trade-fair day with charging breaks.
The third: simple inspections and hobby use (homes). The 8 kg payload lets it carry a camera or a simple sensor, but not heavy measuring equipment. For real industrial work, reach for the Unitree B2 or the Boston Dynamics Spot from the quadruped robots category.
Makes sense for: universities, technical schools and schools that want a real walking robot in class without spending a hundred thousand. Developers and startups testing navigation algorithms before buying more expensive hardware. Event firms and marketing departments that want a mascot that draws people. Enthusiasts who can afford equipment costing ten-odd thousand zloty.
Less suited to: plants looking for a robot for daily industrial work. A thirty-minute inspection is one thing, but full-shift work is another class entirely: it lacks payload, sealing and runtime. Not for those who expect full documentation in Polish and service with a company-level warranty: the hardware is bought in shops (x-kom, botland, komputronik, drony.net, deltarobots), but their offers differ in prices and terms.
A separate matter is cameras: a robot with an HD camera and LiDAR collects images, so in a company and in a school you have to remember privacy. We discuss GDPR issues in the text “Data Security: Robots with Cameras and the GDPR”.
The sources available to us contain no confirmed Go2 deployments in Polish industrial plants: no confirmed deployments in Poland in that sense. The robot is available in several shops, but it is mainly university, hobbyist and show equipment.
In the category, deployments are described by other models: the Polish MAB Robotics Honey Badger 4.0 in Poznań's district heating tunnels since 2023, and Spot in industry (see “Boston Dynamics Spot: Price, Uses and Availability in Poland”). For schools and universities the educational context is also interesting, described in the text “Educational Robots for Schools and Universities”, where we show what equipment purchases for pupils and students look like.
In the garden, robot mowers are mature; the Naio Oz is for professional vegetable growers, and the Unitree Go2 costs from about PLN 9,900 (≈ EUR 2,270) in Polish shops.
Schools buy robots from USD 175 (Ozobot Evo) to robot arms for more than EUR 2,000; the LEGO SPIKE Prime 45678 was retired on 30 June 2026.
Universities buy research platforms: the Unitree G1 humanoid from USD 13,500, the Franka arm for about EUR 25,000, and the open SO-101 in parts for about USD 230.
The Xiaomi CyberDog 2 is the closest rival on price: 8.9 kg, 12 DOF, 1.5 h runtime, about USD 1,800 (PLN 6,980 (≈ EUR 1,600)). Cheaper, but without official distribution in Poland, so service and warranty are a lottery.
The DEEP Robotics Lite3 is an educational quadruped with ROS2: 12 kg, from USD 2,890 (about PLN 11,202 (≈ EUR 2,570)). It has a similar price and similar use, but a smaller community.
The Unitree Go2 is the same Go2, described in more depth: four variants (Air, Pro, X and EDU) with a breakdown of prices and sensors. Worth reading before you choose a configuration.
The Unitree Go2-W is a wheeled variant for inspection; price from PLN 60,000 (≈ EUR 13,750). The change in meaning is fundamental: the robot drives instead of walking.
The Boston Dynamics Spot is a professional system at around PLN 288,777 (≈ EUR 66,170), chosen when you need an ecosystem, support and documented deployments.

The Go2 is the successor to the Go1 in the family of Unitree quadrupeds, from a company founded in 2016 in Hangzhou. Among the facts in the brand's history are also uncomfortable ones: in May 2024 The Guardian described a Unitree Go2 quadruped robot with a rifle mounted on it during Chinese-Cambodian military exercises, and in September 2023 the US Marine Corps mounted an anti-tank launcher on a Go1.
In January 2025 Unitree showed the Go2 and Go2-W at CES in Las Vegas, alongside the B2-W, H1 and G1. In the summer of the same year the company began preparations for a stock market listing, and according to our catalog the company's valuation is about USD 9 billion.
