Standing, it measures roughly 1098×450×645 mm; folded into its rest position, 880×460×330 mm. It weighs 60 kg with the battery. The Unitree B2 is an industrial quadruped built for inspection, rescue and security patrols, with a static payload of up to 120 kg and more than 40 kg while walking continuously.
In its special configuration it exceeds 6 m/s, clears obstacles up to 40 cm, climbs stairs of 20–25 cm at a continuous walking pace (or even 40 cm going forward) and handles slopes above 45°. The 2250 Wh battery (45 Ah, 58 V) delivers 4–6 hours of operation and more than 20 km of range unloaded.
Pricing is a problem: the unitree.com/b2 product page has no price field, and buyer's guides quote a wide range of USD 76,900–296,000. The USD 100,000 figure you may see is only a rough reference point, not an official price list. Compared with the Boston Dynamics Spot, the B2 offers clearly higher payload and longer runtime, though it has a shorter deployment track record outside China.
The model is not officially available in Poland. The B2 suits rescue services and heavy-lifting industrial work; it is a poor fit for budget-driven use.

Price and availability in Poland
No price could be taken from unitree.com/b2 (the page lists only technical data, with no price field); price ranges from earlier market guides put it at USD 76,900–296,000.
Running and deployment costs
B2 prices call for caution. The manufacturer does not list a price on the product page, and market guides indicate a range of USD 76,900–296,000. The USD 100,000 figure from market roundups is a reference point, not a price list.
Specific offers from Polish shops (as of 28 September 2026): x-kom.pl at PLN 270,000 (≈ EUR 61,870) for the version with 3D LiDAR, botland.com.pl at PLN 299,000 (≈ EUR 68,510). A gap of almost PLN 30,000 (≈ EUR 6,870) shows that before buying you need to compare the exact configuration and whether the price is net or gross.
On top of the robot itself come costs that the spec sheet does not mention. As estimates: a sensor package and mounting plate (from ten-odd to several dozen thousand zloty), integration with the plant's systems, operator training and spare batteries. It is reasonable to plan an additional 15–30 percent of the robot's price for the first year; this is an estimate, not manufacturer data.
Whether an inspection robot qualifies should be judged by a tax adviser. Under current rules, 2026 is the last year in which the relief can be claimed. We cover the total cost of ownership calculation in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications
What it's for
The Unitree B2, an industrial-class quadruped from Unitree Robotics, was built for inspection and patrol. According to the manufacturer, it carries more than 40 kg while walking and up to 120 kg when standing still, climbs stairs 20–25 cm high at a continuous walking pace (up to 40 cm going forward) and copes with slopes above 45°.
The first use case is inspecting industrial facilities (factories). The robot can carry a thermal camera or gas sensor on its back. The 2250 Wh battery gives 4–6 hours of operation and more than 20 km of range unloaded.
The second area is security and patrol (security). The manufacturer explicitly lists security patrols and rescue, and the 6 m/s of the special configuration lets it reach the scene of an incident quickly. The third is the construction site (construction sites): rubble, mud and unfinished staircases are terrain where a wheeled robot soon gives up and a quadruped keeps going. That last scenario is our own assessment, not a manufacturer claim.
Against the smaller models we cover in the quadruped robots category, the B2 has one clear advantage: strength. If the payload is going to weigh several dozen kilograms, such as a sensor suite, an extra battery or a communications module, smaller designs simply will not do. For laboratories or schools (laboratories), on the other hand, it is oversized and too expensive.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Makes sense for: industrial plants, utilities and emergency services with a repeatable inspection route over difficult terrain and a budget in the range of several hundred thousand zloty. Integrators who build their own sensor platform on a quadruped, since the B2 has an Intel Core i5 computer for platform functions and an i7 for user development, so there is no shortage of room for custom software. Research teams that need hardware with a high payload.
Less suited to: a company that wants a "robot dog on trial." At a price of PLN 270,000–300,000 (≈ EUR 61,870–68,740) in Polish shops, this is not an experimental purchase; for trials, take the Unitree Go2 (Unitree Go2) for a fraction of that sum. Not for small companies without a maintenance department, because the robot needs care, updates and a trained operator. And not for those who want guaranteed service in Poland: our sources contain no information about an authorized service center, so that is a question for the seller before ordering.
A separate note concerns military and security uses. Reports have surfaced of weapons being mounted on Unitree quadrupeds (The Guardian, May 2024, concerning the Go2). That is a reputational and legal risk to weigh if the robot is going to work in critical installations.
Deployments
The sources available to us contain no confirmed B2 deployments in Poland. The robot is available in Polish shops (x-kom, botland), but we have not found a documented plant that uses it: no confirmed deployments in Poland, full stop.
The Polish thread is the MAB Robotics Honey Badger 4.0, a quadruped from the Poznań company MAB Robotics, which since 2023 (version 3.0) has been used to inspect Poznań's district heating and sewer tunnels. Worldwide, the reference point is the Boston Dynamics Spot, described in “Boston Dynamics Spot: Price, Uses and Availability in Poland”. Before you decide, ask the seller for references from a similar facility; only those will confirm that the robot can cope in your conditions.
Comparison
The closest rival is the Boston Dynamics Spot, the category pioneer, on sale since 2020. It has a lower payload (14 kg versus more than 40 kg while walking for the B2) and shorter runtime (about 90 minutes), but the longest deployment history and a mature software ecosystem.
From the same house comes the Unitree B2-W, a B2 with wheels in its feet: up to 15 km/h on level ground while keeping the ability to climb stairs. It costs more and is heavier (80 kg), so it pays off only where routes are long and mostly flat.
Unitree's other option is the Unitree A2, which is lighter (42 kg), with a 25 kg payload and two hot-swappable batteries, useful for continuous operation.
The Chinese competitor is the DEEP Robotics X30, an industrial quadruped with IP67 protection, priced by a reseller at around USD 65,000. From Europe, take a look at the ANYbotics ANYmal D, a Swiss inspection specialist with a thermal camera and 10 kg payload; price on request only.

History
Unitree was founded in 2016 in Hangzhou. The company started with small quadrupeds for developers, and the B2 is its heaviest, industrial answer to Spot. The manufacturer's timeline shows how quickly its profile grew: in May 2024 it unveiled the production G1 humanoid from about USD 16,000, in August 2024 the G1 went on sale, and in January 2025 the company showed its whole family at CES in Las Vegas, including the B2-W. In summer 2025, Unitree began preparing for a stock market debut with CITIC Securities.
The backdrop matters for the B2: the same manufacturer has also been behind high-profile incidents involving weapons, including the mounting of an anti-tank launcher on a Go1 by the US Marine Corps (September 2023). We compare the history of the whole family in “Unitree H1, G1, R1 and H2”.
