Where the regular B2 walks only on its legs, the B2-W adds retractable wheels in each foot, letting it reach 15 km/h on flat, wheel-friendly ground while keeping full legged mobility on stairs and uneven terrain. It is a hybrid variant of the Unitree quadruped weighing 80 kg with a payload of up to 120 kg, IP67 protection, 360 N·m of joint torque and ROS2 SDK support.
Speed on legs reaches 4.2 m/s. The price, USD 88,900–97,600 depending on configuration, comes solely from resellers (including Top3DShop); Unitree does not publish an official price list for this variant.
Compared with the classic B2, the B2-W is heavier and mechanically more complex, which makes it a niche solution: sensible where you genuinely switch between wheeled driving and legged walking, for example transport across large, partly paved logistics sites. Deep Robotics also offers a competing wheel-leg approach with its X30 series, though our catalog contains no direct spec comparison.
The B2-W is not officially available in Poland. The model is aimed at R&D teams and off-road logistics operators who need both speed and obstacle-crossing ability.

Price and availability in Poland
Reseller price range of USD 88,900–97,600 depending on configuration; no official list price from Unitree.
Running and deployment costs
The B2-W price does not come from the manufacturer. Resellers quote a range of USD 88,900–97,600 depending on configuration (Top3DShop, 2026), and at the Polish shop x-kom.pl the model with 3D LiDAR costs PLN 349,000 (≈ EUR 79,970) (as of 28 September 2026). At an exchange rate of PLN 3.8762 per USD, the American version comes to about PLN 324,000 (≈ EUR 74,240), so the Polish offer includes a clear difference; it makes sense to check what is included in its price.
Additional costs, as estimates: a mounting plate and sensors (from ten-odd thousand zloty), operator training, route-planning software and spare batteries. For robots of this class, post-warranty service also counts; let us settle it in the contract before signing the order. All amounts other than shop prices are estimates.
An inspection and transport robot may or may not qualify; it is a matter of interpretation worth agreeing with an adviser. Keep in mind that 2026 is the last year the relief is in force under the current law. We show how to calculate the whole deployment in the article “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.

Applications
What it's for
The Unitree B2-W combines wheeled driving with walking on legs. It is a variant of the B2 with retractable wheels in its feet: on level ground the robot drives at up to 15 km/h, and when it meets stairs or rubble it returns to walking on four legs.
The manufacturer and resellers point to three main uses: transport across rough ground, industrial inspection and "last-mile" logistics. In practice, that means carrying loads between buildings on a plant site (factories), patrolling long routes (security) and delivering tools to places a cart cannot reach (construction sites). The stated payload is up to 120 kg, and speed on legs is 4.2 m/s.
The model also has IP67 protection and 360 N·m of joint torque, and its software can be developed through the ROS2 SDK, which matters to integrators.
Flexibility costs mass: 80 kg is 20 kg more than the regular B2 (Unitree B2). For simple indoor inspections, of the kind we cover in the quadruped robots category, this solution is needlessly heavy.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Makes sense for: plants with extensive grounds, where the route is mostly flat and obstacles turn up only occasionally. Integrators building transport and inspection platforms that need a high payload and IP67 sealing. Port and terminal operators, provided the supplier can offer service.
Less suited to: companies looking for a robot for indoor spaces with narrow corridors, since 80 kg and wheels do not make maneuvering easier. Teams with no robotics experience, because the price and the complexity of the hardware call for a prepared operator. Those who expect an official price list and a manufacturer's warranty: the price comes exclusively from resellers.
It is also worth asking about certifications and explosion-hazard zones. Our sources contain no confirmation that the B2-W meets ATEX requirements, so do not assume it for Ex zones without a written declaration. We cover machine safety rules in “Robot Safety Standards”.
Deployments
The sources available to us contain no confirmed B2-W deployments, either in Poland or worldwide. The manufacturer and sellers describe uses (off-road transport, industrial inspection, last-mile logistics), but we have not found a documented plant that has written them up.
Deployments in the category are, however, well known: Spot on construction sites and in industrial plants (“Boston Dynamics Spot: Price, Uses and Availability in Poland”) and the Polish MAB Robotics Honey Badger 4.0 in Poznań's district heating tunnels.

Comparison
The Unitree B2 is a brother without wheels that costs several dozen thousand zloty less. If most of your route is stairs, rubble and uneven ground, the wheels are superfluous and you are better off with the version without them.
The DEEP Robotics Lynx is another hybrid wheel-legged quadruped: 5 m/s, 15 kg payload, priced at around USD 17,999. It is considerably lighter (35 kg) and cheaper, but cannot match the B2-W's payload.
The Unitree Go2-W is a smaller wheeled version, with prices available from PLN 60,000 (≈ EUR 13,750) to 195,500. An 8 kg payload is enough for simple inspections, but not for transport.
The Boston Dynamics Spot remains the reference among inspection robots: mature software and a long track record, but no wheels and a lower payload.
The DEEP Robotics X30 is an industrial IP67 quadruped from China (56 kg), a good comparison point in price negotiations. The quadruped robots roundup gives the full picture of the category, with the models described in a single data layout.

History
The B2-W appeared as a wheeled-legged variant of the B2. It was publicly presented at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, where Unitree showed the Go2, Go2-W, B2-W, H1 and G1 together, one piece of evidence that the Hangzhou company is betting on a whole range of robots, from hobbyist to industrial.
The manufacturer has existed since 2016, and in 2025 it announced preparations to go public with CITIC Securities. We describe the development of Unitree's quadruped lineup in “Unitree Go2 Review: Prices and the Air, Pro, X and EDU Versions”. The idea of a wheel-leg hybrid is not new, but in the class of 80 kg and 120 kg payload it is still a rarity, which explains the lack of an official price list and the limited number of sellers.
