Summary

Unitree's newest flagship, the H2, debuted on 20 October 2025 as the successor to the H1. It keeps the 180 cm height but gains mass (70 kg) and degrees of freedom: 31 versus the H1's 18. The robot has a compute system rated at 2,070 TOPS and, as the first humanoid in the brand's history, a bionic face, which points to a shift of emphasis from raw speed (the H1's strength) toward range of motion and expression.

The price in the manufacturer's store is USD 29,900, or about PLN 115,898 (≈ EUR 26,560) at a rate of 3.8762 (as of 1 October 2026), nearly three times less than the flagship H1 while offering more degrees of freedom. An “H2 Plus” variant would reportedly cost USD 100,000 according to an external source, but the manufacturer has not confirmed this. Data on speed, payload and battery capacity are unavailable in this set.

Only the EDU version supports additional programming (Secondary Development). The manufacturer gives no availability in Poland. The H2 targets research and industry, but because of the gaps in its specification it is hard to compare fully with the H1 or competing models.

Price and availability in Poland

Price in Poland from 219,900 PLN (≈ EUR 50,390) 2 offers from Polish retailers · as of 28 September 2026

Lowest price at a Polish shop (deltarobots.com, 2026-09-28); the manufacturer's USD price (USD 29,900, before tax and duty) is lower because it excludes VAT, customs duty and the seller's margin. Unveiled on 20 October 2025. The “H2 Plus” variant reportedly costs USD 100,000 according to an external source. Only the EDU version supports Secondary Development.

Running and deployment costs

Purchase: the price in the Unitree store is USD 29,900, about PLN 115,900 (≈ EUR 26,560) at a rate of 3.8762 (as of 1 October 2026). That is not, however, the price you will see in Poland. Polish offers from September 2026 in our catalog: PLN 219,900 (≈ EUR 50,390) (deltarobots.com), PLN 240,000 (≈ EUR 54,990) (x-kom.pl), and for the “Edu Smart” variants PLN 240,000–269,000 (≈ EUR 54,990–61,640), for the “PLUS Flagship” from PLN 432,000 (≈ EUR 98,990) to PLN 1,000,000 (≈ EUR 229,140). An “H2 Plus” variant would reportedly cost USD 100,000 according to an external source, which the manufacturer has not confirmed. The differences presumably reflect configuration, customs duty, VAT and margin; no document accounts for them, so treat this as an order of magnitude, not a cost estimate.

Operation: as an estimate, a few percent of the price per year for spare batteries, transport, service and securing the work area. A 70 kg robot requires a protective zone.

Training: for a research team, as an estimate, weeks to months depending on experience with humanoids.

Applications

What it's for

When Unitree showed the H2 in October 2025, the loudest novelty was the face: the first humanoid in the company's history with a bionic face. It is a signal of where the design is heading: less “runner”, more “workmate” that is meant to look at the human. The H2 stands 180 cm, weighs 70 kg, has 31 degrees of freedom (“Degrees of Freedom (DOF) in Humanoid Robots”) and a compute system rated at 2,070 TOPS. That last figure matters: 2,070 TOPS is headroom for perception and control models that in humanoid robots increasingly run on board (“VLA Models: How AI Controls Humanoid Robots in 2026”).

Applications. “Universities and research” and laboratories: a full-size platform for research on human-robot interaction, manipulation and learning, with the caveat that only the EDU version supports secondary development, meaning your own software. events: an adult-sized humanoid with a face works on stage and at trade fairs more strongly than boxy machines. Industry: the manufacturer names research and industry as the target group, but our catalog contains no documented production deployments, and speed, payload and battery capacity have not been published. That means that for factories it is worth testing in a pilot, not ordering a fleet.

An important practical note: before you plan an application, ask about the missing parameters. Without the payload you cannot work out whether the H2 will lift your containers; without the runtime you cannot plan a shift. For broader context on this class of machine, see “Humanoid Robots in Factories 2026”.

Who it's for

Yes: a research team with a budget in the range of several hundred thousand zloty and a need for a full-size humanoid with high computing power. Yes for centers that want to study interaction with humans, since the face and full dimensions are an asset. Yes for technology companies looking for an eye-catching, modern display humanoid.

No: a company that needs a robot with a datasheet for a tender, because payload, speed and runtime are missing (“How to Read a Robot Datasheet”). Not for those who want to run their own code on a cheaper version: only the EDU allows secondary development. Not for people counting on the manufacturer's store price without surprises: in Polish offers the robot costs several times more than the converted Unitree price. Not for users who value regulatory stability: in 2026 Unitree landed in the United States on a list of companies linked to the Chinese military (Department of Defense) and in the FCC's import-restriction register, which matters if your company works with American partners.

Deployments

The model is too young for documented references to exist. In Poland only sales offers have been recorded (deltarobots.com, x-kom.pl). In the humanoid robots category, by contrast, there are machines with documented industrial pilots, for example UBTech Walker S2 (pilot since July 2025) or Atlas (production reserved for Hyundai and Google DeepMind). If the H2 is to go into a plant, ask Unitree for references from real installations, not from demonstrations.

Comparison

Unitree H1: the predecessor, 180 cm, 47 kg, 18 degrees of freedom and a measured 3.3 m/s; more expensive in the manufacturer's store (USD 90,000), but with a documented speed.

Unitree G1 EDU: smaller (132 cm), programmable, with tactile hands in the top configuration; better when you are studying manipulation rather than human scale.

AgiBot A2: 169 cm, about 40 degrees of freedom, from USD 54,999; specifications differ between sources, but the range of use is close.

UBTech Walker S2: 52 degrees of freedom, 15 kg payload, multi-robot coordination; price undisclosed, industrial target.

Booster T1: 118 cm, 23 degrees of freedom, a platform known from RoboCup, about USD 34,000 per our catalog; for teams that start with robot soccer rather than full scale.

History

The H2 was unveiled on 20 October 2025 as the successor to the H1. It keeps the 180 cm height but gains mass (70 kg) and degrees of freedom (31 versus 18). The earlier H1 was shown in 2023, the G1 went on sale in August 2024, and the R1 in August 2025. 2026 was a breakthrough year for the company on the stock market: the application for a Shanghai debut was filed in March, and in August Unitree listed on the STAR Market, raising about USD 905 million. In the same month the company showed a humanoid called “Superman” running at 12.66 m/s; September demonstrations included the first fully autonomous humanoid robot fight, based on the UnifoLM-X2-1.0 model. The sources do not say which specific machine these demonstrations refer to, so we do not attribute them to the H2. The whole family: “Unitree H1, G1, R1 and H2”; company profile: Unitree Robotics.
