The 4NE-1 Mini is the smaller, lighter version of Neura Robotics' humanoid line: 132 cm (4 ft 4 in) tall, 36 kg (79 lb), with 25 degrees of freedom, positioned as an affordable entry point into humanoids for education, research and early enthusiasts. Payload is limited to 3 kg per arm, and the drive is fully electric.
Reserving one takes a refundable 100 euro deposit, and the target price is around 19,999 euros (roughly PLN 87,536 (≈ EUR 20,060)). Deliveries were originally promised for spring 2026, but that date has slipped.
In this segment the 4NE-1 Mini competes with China's Unitree G1, which is about the same height and has a lower starting price, but lacks the German development backing and the tie to the larger industrial 4NE-1 platform. The Mini's strength is that it belongs to a robot family backed by funding on the order of a billion euros; its weakness is the limited payload and an incomplete sensor specification.
Walking speed (about 3 km/h, or 0.83 m/s) and battery life (about 2.5 hours) are publicly reported by third-party sources. The robot is not yet on sale in Poland.

Refundable reservation deposit of EUR 100; originally announced for spring 2026.
Running and deployment costs
Reserving costs 100 euros (refundable). The target price is about 19,999 euros, or roughly PLN 87,536 (≈ EUR 20,060) at the 4.3770 rate of 1 October 2026 (about USD 21,500). On top of that comes an estimated 23% VAT.
Running costs are not published. As a rough guide, for research robots annual service and parts run to a few percent of the purchase price; for the Mini there is no manufacturer data. With a runtime of about 2.5 hours, you should consider a spare battery or a set of chargers. Training is usually just team time; the sources mention no formal program.
Universities and schools can look for funding through programs such as FENG, NCBR or Horizon Europe.

Applications
What it's for
The 4NE-1 Mini is the little sibling of Neura Robotics' industrial humanoid: 132 cm tall, 36 kg, with 25 degrees of freedom (DOF). Its German maker, Neura Robotics, describes it as an easier way into the humanoid world for education, research and early enthusiasts; its uses are demonstrations and development. Payload is 3 kg per arm, walking speed about 0.83 m/s (3 km/h), and runtime about 2.5 hours.
The maker aims the model at education, research and demonstrations, that is, robotics labs at universities and innovation centers. At 132 cm and 36 kg the Mini is a handy platform for experiments with gait and control and a teaching aid for people who want to get to know the German company's technology stack without spending a sum in the hundreds of thousands of zloty. It is also smaller than the full-size 4NE-1.
It is not suited to physical work. A 3 kg payload and under three hours of runtime rule out transport and production tasks. The manufacturer has not published a full sensor specification or the compute unit in the sources, so it is hard to judge its perception capabilities. Deliveries were originally announced for spring 2026, but the date has slipped, and the model is listed as pre-order.

Typical applications
Who it's for
The Mini is for universities, labs, innovation centers and robotics enthusiasts with a budget in the tens of thousands of zloty who value a German brand and want to enter Neura's ecosystem. It works well as a demonstration platform at conferences and in academic programs.
We do not recommend it for factories, warehouses, or anyone who needs a robot to do actual work. Nor is it the cheapest option: competing Chinese hardware is noticeably cheaper. Don't buy it if you need a guaranteed delivery datę, because the original datę (spring 2026) has already passed. It is not available in Poland, and the sources point to no local service.
Deployments
The robot is in pre-order and deliveries have not yet begun. In the category of small research humanoids, other models are actually at work: the Unitree G1 and R1 in universities and labs (“Unitree H1, G1, R1 and H2”). For a general overview of the education market, see “Educational Robots for Schools and Universities”. If a confirmed deployment appears in Poland, we will add it here.
Comparison
Unitree G1 has the same height, 132 cm, and 23 DOF, and costs USD 13,500 (about PLN 52,300 (≈ EUR 11,980)), which is less than the Mini, plus it is actually available and has a huge community. Unitree R1 at USD 4,900 (about PLN 19,000 (≈ EUR 4,350)) is 123 cm tall with 26 DOF, the cheapest full humanoid on this list. EngineAI PM01 costs about USD 12,000 (about PLN 46,500 (≈ EUR 10,660)), stands 140 cm and has 24 DOF. Booster K1 at about USD 12,500 (about PLN 48,500 (≈ EUR 11,110)) is 95 cm with 22 DOF, a compact version for learning. Noetix Bumi at about USD 1,402 (about PLN 5,430 (≈ EUR 1,240)) is the cheapest, but it is only 94 cm tall, a design from a completely different league than the Mini. In Neura's favor are its European origin; against it, the price and the delivery date. For a comparison of the Unitree series, see “Unitree H1, G1, R1 and H2”.

History
The 4NE-1 family debuted as an industrial robot: Neura Robotics presented the third generation of the 4NE-1 at the Automatica trade fair in June 2025, and in December 2025 the company opened a development center in Zurich where it concentrated work on this line. The Mini appeared as a smaller version with 25 DOF, aimed at education and enthusiasts. The launch date of the Mini itself is not confirmed. Deliveries were originally announced for spring 2026, and that date has slipped. In June 2026 Neura announced a Series C round of up to about USD 1.4 billion, which is funding for the whole company, not just this line. Two independent outlets confirm the speed (about 0.83 m/s) and runtime (about 2.5 hours).
