Before the Gen 3.5 that NEURA Robotics now takes reservations for, the Metzingen company had built three generations of its cognitive humanoid 4NE-1, and this entry covers them. NEURA no longer keeps a separate web page for the older generations, but the V7 datasheet dated June 2026 describes Gen 3: a biped of 180 cm and 80 kg with 55 degrees of freedom, 12 of them in each hand.
Arm payload is listed as 10 to 20 kg, rising to 100 kg when the legs support the load. Walking speed is 5 km/h, or 1.39 m/s. Instead of a runtime in hours, NEURA states round-the-clock operation through battery swapping. The robot carries a tactile skin and 360-degree perception and runs on the Neuraverse software platform.
An earlier datasheet from August 2024, representing Gen 2, reportedly quoted 15 kg and 3 km/h. Intended uses span manufacturing, service work and everyday tasks. Status is prototype, and the price is on request, since NEURA's published price list applies only to NEURA 4NE-1 Gen 3.5. A smaller sibling is listed as NEURA 4NE-1 Mini.
