Summary

The MAiRA M belongs to Neura Robotics' line of "cognitive" cobots, which combine a seven-axis arm with a built-in 3D camera and AI-based object recognition (the Neura Cognitive Platform). The price according to a market aggregator (Unchained Robotics) is about 39,500 euros net; this figure has not been verified directly on the manufacturer's website.
Compared with classic cobots of similar payload, such as the KUKA LBR iiwa or Universal Robots UR16e, the MAiRA M stands out for its built-in vision perception, which lets it recognize objects without additional integration software.
Its strength is precisely this balanced reach-to-payload ratio combined with a ready-made AI layer; its weakness is a higher price than comparable cobots without that feature, and no independent confirmation of the price. The model is aimed mainly at industry and research centers. Availability in Poland and the presence of local distributors have not been confirmed.

Running and deployment costs
Purchase: EUR 39,500 net, or about PLN 172,892 at the 4.3770 rate of 1 October 2026. The price comes from a reseller's offer, not from a manufacturer's price list. On top of that comes integration: gripper, workstation software, training and testing. As a rough estimate, the total cost of a running workstation can be about half again as much as the arm itself, but that is our assessment, not manufacturer data. The AI layer is included in the robot's price, which saves the cost of an external vision system, from Orbbec or Luxonis for example, but also limits your freedom of choice. Operation: the robot is electric, so energy cost is low; the main costs are service and software updates, whose terms you need to ask the manufacturer about. Training: working with perception requires computer-vision knowledge, or at least good training from the manufacturer. Funding: the purchase can be claimed under Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację), described in “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”. The method for calculating payback is shown in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications
What it's for
This is a robot that looks before it grabs. Neura MAiRA M combines a seven-axis arm with a built-in 3D camera and AI-based object recognition (the Neura Cognitive Platform), which is what you have to bolt on separately in a classic cobot. According to the Neura Robotics website, payload is 12-14 kg; in our catalog we use the middle value, 13 kg. Built-in perception matters where parts do not lie in fixed positions: an ordinary cobot needs rigidly prepared positions, while the MAiRA recognizes the object and adapts its grip. That applies to packing, quality control (inspecting a part from several sides and sorting into bins), labs studying human-robot interaction with voice commands, and small production batches where a station changeover should be quick. Seven axes give extra freedom: the arm can go around an obstacle that a six-axis counterpart could not reach without a complicated motion. Safety functions also allow it to work alongside people. Details on the relevant standards are in “Robot Safety Standards”, and on the role of perception and AI in robotics in “VLA Models: How AI Controls Humanoid Robots in 2026”. Industrial uses are covered under “Factories and manufacturing”, and research uses under “Laboratories”. The 3D camera and AI are a value, but also a cost and a source of extra complexity that someone has to keep running.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Who it's for: plants with tasks where parts are positioned variably and that don't want to build their own vision system. Research centers working on perception and human-robot interaction. Integrators looking for a differentiator in their offering.
Who it's not for: companies with simple, repetitive tasks, where a classic cobot with an external camera is enough and will come out cheaper. The price is higher than comparable cobots without the AI layer. Not for those who need confirmed local sales: availability in Poland is unconfirmed. If you're counting on a standard, well-documented ecosystem, look at the UR10e.
Deployments
We can, however, point to a direction: the manufacturer works with Bosch and Schaeffler, and the Series C round was backed by Amazon, Nvidia and Qualcomm, among others. That is a signal of interest from big players, not a customer list for this cobot. In this category, it is worth reading the overview cobots and the market context in “Polish Robotics Companies”.
Comparison
Three options in a similar class.
UR10e is the best-known cobot in this class. In our catalog it costs about PLN 159,640 (≈ EUR 36,580), which is more, even though it has no built-in perception; its asset is the ecosystem of accessories and integrators from Universal Robots.
ABB GoFa CRB 15000 at about PLN 147,720 (≈ EUR 33,850) is a solid robot from the Swedish-Swiss giant, good when integration with industrial systems matters. Perception has to be added.
KUKA LBR iisy 6 R1300 at about PLN 122,930 (≈ EUR 28,170) is a German offering with a good reputation in industry. If you need even more gripping force, look at Neura MAiRA S with its 18 kg payload.

History
Neura Robotics was founded in 2019 in Metzingen. Since then the company has raised about USD 1.4 billion, and according to reports from June 2026 its valuation reached about USD 7 billion. In May 2025 it acquired B.A.H. Industrial Solutions and founded Neura Electronics, and in October of the same year ek robotics, a maker of AGVs. Headcount has passed 1,100. The MAiRA line is positioned as a "cognitive cobot," a combination of arm with a perception and AI layer. We have no launch date for the MAiRA M.
