Summary

The AgiBot A2 Ultra is the most thoroughly documented model in Zhiyuan Robotics' portfolio, and at the same time one whose price remains a secret: no public price was found on agibot.com. The robot stands 169 cm tall, weighs 69 kg and moves at up to 1.2 m/s, which puts it around the performance of the Unitree H1, though without directly comparable price data it is hard to give a firm competitive verdict.

A total of 40 degrees of freedom are split between the neck (2 DoF), 7 DoF in each arm, 6 DoF in each leg and six-fingered hands capable of precise grip. The knee generates torque of up to 270 Nm at peak, and the 14.4 Ah battery gives about 3 hours of standing operation or at least 1.5 hours of walking, with a 2-hour charge and hot-swappable batteries, a feature rare even among more expensive humanoids.

Sensing includes 3D LiDAR, RGB-D, RGB and fisheye cameras and a microphone array; computing is handled by a 16-core processor or, in the performance version, an NVIDIA Jetson Orin 64G module. The 2 kg payload is modest against industrial competitors. With no price and no information on availability in Poland, the model is for now interesting mainly for market watchers and integrators planning pilots.

Running and deployment costs

The A2 Ultra's price is not known: we found no quote on the manufacturer's site. The reference point is the closely related A2 at USD 54,999 (about PLN 213,200 (≈ EUR 48,770) at a rate of 3.8762), but that is only an order of magnitude: the Ultra version with a Jetson Orin 64G module may cost more or less. Buying from China adds customs duty and VAT (roughly several tens of thousands of zloty at such a sum), transport, warranty and service without a local partner, often the biggest risk with equipment in this class. Running: spare batteries (thanks to hot-swap they can be exchanged mid-operation), software updates, integration with the production system and a risk assessment under “Robot Safety Standards”. Training for two to three operators usually takes a few days. A whole-life cost breakdown: “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications

What it's for

The AgiBot A2 Ultra is a humanoid that the manufacturer describes in exceptional detail, and to which it has assigned no price. It is 169 cm tall, weighs 69 kg and has 40 degrees of freedom: neck 2 DOF, 7 DOF in each arm, 6 in the legs and 6 in each hand. The knees generate up to 270 Nm at peak, so the build has spare strength for dynamic movement. The payload is a modest 2 kg, walking speed is 1.2 m/s, and the battery (14.4 Ah) allows about 3 hours of work in place or at least 1.5 hours of walking; charging takes 2 hours, and hot-swapping the battery is rare even among more expensive competitors. Senses: 3D LiDAR, RGB-D, RGB and “fisheye” cameras and a microphone array. Computing is handled by a 16-core processor or, in the performance version, an NVIDIA Jetson Orin 64G module (NVIDIA Jetson). Where it fits: the data points to factories and logistics: light station tasks, handling parts up to 2 kg, visual quality inspection. For a university the robot makes sense as a platform for research into two-handed manipulation, thanks to its rich hands and sensing. At events it impresses just with its body proportions. Speaking for warehouses are hot-swap and LiDAR; against it, the 2 kg payload, which rules out carrying cartons. General background is in “Humanoid Robots in Factories 2026”.

Who it's for

YES: for industrial integrators planning a pilot with a Chinese manufacturer; for research teams working on two-handed manipulation and whole-body control; for R&D departments at large plants that want to compare the A2 with better-known Western designs; for market watchers.

NO: for companies that must have a price and a delivery date, since the price is not public and AgiBot has no confirmed commercial presence in Poland; for those who want to carry heavy loads, because 2 kg is light-part territory; for procurement departments requiring in-country service; for users working in a facility with export and cybersecurity restrictions, since before connecting a robot with cameras and LiDAR to the network you have to go through “Data Security: Robots with Cameras and the GDPR”.

Deployments

In the company's history: July 2025, the completion of its first industrial deployment and the release of the Lingqu OS operating system (no customer details). The uses of the A2 platform in our catalog are manufacturing and logistics. On the Polish market: we cover Chinese humanoids in “Chinese Humanoid Robots” and Polish robotics companies in “Polish Robotics Companies”.

Comparison

AgiBot A2: the same height, mass and number of degrees of freedom (169 cm, 69 kg, 40 DOF), with a starting price of USD 54,999 (about PLN 213,200 (≈ EUR 48,770) after conversion). A good reference point for the A2 Ultra, though it is not its price list.

AgiBot A2 Lite: a leaner variant (23 DOF, 63 kg, 1.5 kg payload), about PLN 172,700 (≈ EUR 39,500) after conversion; for research.

Unitree H2: 180 cm, 70 kg, 31 DOF, from about PLN 115,900 (≈ EUR 26,510) after conversion; available through Polish sales channels and with a much larger user base.

Fourier GR-3: 165 cm, 71 kg and 55 DOF, aimed at care and rehabilitation; no price listed.

Figure 03: a Western alternative (172 cm, 61 kg, 35 DOF, 20 kg payload), with its first reference deployment at the BMW plant in Spartanburg.
