Summary

Openness is the main selling point of the AGIBOT X1: AgiBot has released both the hardware design and the software under open licences, turning the robot into a development platform for universities, schools and research groups. The humanoid stands 130 cm tall, weighs 33 kg and moves with 34 active degrees of freedom.

Each arm lifts 0.5 kg, and the OmniPicker adaptive gripper closes with 30 N over a 120 mm stroke. The X1 walks at 1 m/s and runs for about two hours per charge. Actuation uses the PowerFlow quasi-direct-drive units R86 and R52 together with the L28 linear actuator; the R86-3 variant peaks at 200 Nm. Low-level control runs on a domain controller at 1 kHz, while the host computer is chosen by the user.

The maker does not publish a sensor list. Since AgiBot does not confirm sales of finished units, the catalogue lists the X1 as a prototype with pricing on request. The company's Lingxi family also includes the AgiBot Lingxi X2, and the backpack-sized AGIBOT Q1 is its newer open platform idea. The widely used Unitree G1 is of similar height but is not open hardware.
