Summary

The AgiBot Lingxi X2 is a compact humanoid from AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics), 130 cm tall and weighing 35 kg, roughly the size of a school-age child. It was unveiled in March 2025 and went on sale in December 2025. The standard variant has 25 degrees of freedom, an electric drive and a multimodal AI model called SiliconLight-Language, and facial-expression recognition is listed among its sensors.

Its payload is modest: up to 3 kg in certain arm positions and no more than 1 kg across its full working reach, so this is a robot for shows, education and interaction, not for physical work. The maker has demonstrated it riding a bicycle and a skateboard without the usual balancing aids, and on 8 December 2025 the 5,000th unit was delivered, an unusual scale for this segment of the market.

The price falls between CNY 100,000 and 400,000 (about USD 13,800–55,000, or from roughly PLN 53,490 (≈ EUR 12,240) at a rate of 3.8762), depending on configuration; it is not known which version matches which price. Its strengths are its compact size, documented production volume and a lower entry price than many rivals in the Unitree G1 class.

The weaknesses are the very small payload and the lack of clarity about configurations. The manufacturer is aiming for shipments in the thousands by the end of 2026. There is no confirmed distribution in Poland, so the model mainly interests schools, universities and event agencies watching China's humanoid market.

Price range CNY 100,000–400,000 (about USD 13,800–55,000) per an external source, depending on configuration. The lower bound (USD 13,800) is the entry price shown here; the upper bound is USD 55,000. The 5,000th unit was delivered on December 8, 2025. Series production is being scaled up, with a target of several thousand units by the end of 2026.

Running and deployment costs

Price range: CNY 100,000–400,000, or about USD 13,800–55,000 (roughly PLN 53,490 (≈ EUR 12,240) to PLN 213,190 (≈ EUR 48,770) at a rate of 3.8762). The lower bound is the figure listed. We do not know which features correspond to which price, so ask the seller for the exact configuration. Expect to add, as a rough estimate: customs duty and 23% VAT on import, transport and a reserve for service. Training costs for schools are small, because the model was designed for shows and teaching. We have no data on energy consumption or battery run time. For budgeting, use “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost” and “How Much Does a Humanoid Robot Cost in 2026”. Always compare prices in the same currency and with the same number of warranty years, because the manufacturer's documentation does not say clearly what is included in the price.

Applications

What it's for

AgiBot Lingxi X2 is a compact humanoid, 130 cm tall and weighing 35 kg, about the size of a school-age child. That size is what sets it apart in the AgiBot range. In March 2025 the company showed it riding a bicycle and a skateboard, which turned it into a small internet star. It suits demonstrations and education best, and the target groups on our list are consumers, education and logistics. Be careful with the payload, though. The standard variant has 25 degrees of freedom; sources disagree, and the manufacturer states neither 28 nor 31. This robot is not suited to a factory. The AI layer is a multimodal model called SiliconLight-Language, and the listed sensors include facial-expression recognition. Educational uses are covered in “Educational Robots for Schools and Universities”, event shows in “Renting a Humanoid Robot for an Event”, and the relevant categories are events, schools and retail. For an explanation of the parameters, see “Degrees of Freedom (DOF) in Humanoid Robots”.

Typical applications

  • Demo
  • Logistics (light loads up to 3 kg)

Who it's for

Makes sense for: schools, universities and robotics clubs that want a humanoid for teaching and inspiration; event agencies and shops looking for an eye-catching display piece; collectors and enthusiasts who want a compact humanoid from a recognizable brand.

Less suited to: companies that need a robot to carry loads, since 1 kg across the full reach is very little; customers in Poland who expect local service, because no supplier in Poland has been confirmed; and anyone who wants a fixed price. The CNY 100,000–400,000 range means large differences depending on the variant, and we do not know which configuration matches which price. If you are considering a purchase for a school, first talk to the supplier about service and about which configuration the educational version ships in.

Deployments

Worldwide, the available data mainly confirm production scale and demonstrations: the bicycle, the skateboard, public shows. We have no names of end customers. The claim of 5,000 units delivered refers to shipments, not to specific applications. Among humanoids available in Poland you will find Unitree models, including Unitree R1 and Unitree G1. A comparison of them is in “Unitree H1, G1, R1 and H2”. To see how humanoids are entering education in Poland, read “Educational Robots for Schools and Universities”; for events, “Renting a Humanoid Robot for an Event” is useful. It is worth watching whether, by the end of 2026, the first institutions and companies to use the X2 at scale get named.

Comparison

Unitree R1 at USD 4,900 (about PLN 18,993 (≈ EUR 4,340)) is several times cheaper, stands 123 cm tall, has 26 degrees of freedom and is available in Poland. For education it is the most sensible pricing choice today.

Unitree G1 at USD 13,500 (about PLN 52,329 (≈ EUR 11,970)) is 132 cm tall, weighs 35 kg and has a similar 2 kg payload. Next to the X2's lower price range, it is the natural rival.

EngineAI PM01 at around USD 12,000 (140 cm, 24 degrees of freedom) also targets education and research.

Noetix Bumi at around USD 1,402 (94 cm, 12 kg) is a toy-like humanoid for schools on a tight budget, with no industrial ambitions. If you want to experiment with code, choose a model with an open SDK; for how to judge that, see “How to Read a Robot Datasheet”. Each of these options has different strengths, so match the choice to whether you need a show, teaching or coding experiments.

History

The Lingxi X2 descends from the Lingxi line (the X1 and X1-W were shown in August 2024). March 2025: presentation of the X2, a compact humanoid able to ride a bike and a skateboard. November 2025: the model goes on sale, although our catalog gives December 2025 as the start of sales. December 8, 2025: according to a report by the outlet AIbase, the 5,000th unit was delivered, and the manufacturer plans shipments in the thousands by the end of 2026. That scale is unusual for this segment, but it rests on a single source, so treat it with caution. Company: AgiBot. The model is young, so its history is still being written, and later generations should firm up the specification.
