Summary

The EBO SE is the entry-level model in Enabot's line of mobile home cameras. Walmart sells it for a promotional $119.69 against a regular price of $139 - at the NBP rate of 1 October 2026, roughly 437 and 539 zloty (PLN). It packs a 1080p camera, night vision and two-way audio: the basics for checking in on your home remotely and talking to family members or pets while you are out.

Compared with the pricier EBO Air 2 from the same brand, the SE drops the optional laser for playing with pets, but keeps the rolling mobility that defines the whole EBO family. The manufacturer does not publish weight, dimensions or battery life, which is typical across the line and makes a direct comparison with stationary IP cameras from other brands harder.

Enabot (Beijing Sichuang Technology) sells the EBO SE through its own store, Amazon and Walmart; no Polish distributor appears in our catalog, so buying in Poland means importing - usually through intermediaries or directly from US retailers, with customs duty to pay.

It is a good fit for anyone after a budget entry into mobile home cameras with a "robot" twist, and not for users who expect advanced pet-interaction features - the more expensive Air 2 suits those better.

Applications

What it's for

The EBO SE is the cheapest way to get a home camera that drives itself around. A ball on wheels carries a 1080p camera with night vision and two-way sound, so you can look into a room and talk to whoever is in it. The listed uses are home monitoring and a pet camera.

Through the app you can steer the robot into the living room, see what is going on in the room and talk through the speaker to whoever is there. That is a use case for homes - simple and everyday.

Compared with the pricier Enabot EBO Air 2, the EBO SE has no optional laser for playing with pets. The manufacturer also does not publish weight, dimensions or battery life, which is typical of the whole line. It is not meant for security of premises - it lacks certification, so only home surveillance makes sense. More on the segment: “Home robots”. A camera on wheels has one advantage over a fixed one: you drive to wherever you want to look, instead of buying four cameras for four rooms.

Typical applications

  • Home monitoring
  • Pet camera

Who it's for

Yes: for people looking for a budget, mobile home camera with two-way talk. Yes: for pet owners who do not need a laser. Yes: for seniors and families who want to check in on a home remotely.

No: for anyone who wants laser play with a pet - choose the Air 2. No: for commercial users, because industrial-grade specifications are missing. No: for anyone who wants support in Poland, because there is no distributor. Before you put a camera in the bedroom, read about privacy: “Data Security: Robots with Cameras and the GDPR”. If you live in a home with many rooms, check the Wi-Fi coverage in each one.

Deployments

The EBO SE is sold through Enabot's store, Amazon and Walmart, and there is no distributor in Poland. It is a home device, so there are no business installations on record. Other home robots are covered in the home robots section. Usage examples are shown in the description of its pricier sibling, the EBO Air 2, and in our roundup of home robots.

Comparison

Enabot EBO Air 2 - about $70 more, with an optional laser for playing with pets. For owners who want more interaction.

Loona Petbot - a robot pet bought locally for about 2,099 PLN (≈ EUR 480); interaction rather than pure monitoring.

Eilik - an inexpensive desktop companion for about 771 PLN (≈ EUR 175), with no camera and no driving around the floor.

Amazon Astro - a pricier home patrol robot with Alexa; the business variant was withdrawn in 2024. The choice comes down to whether a camera alone is enough (SE), whether you want a laser for the pet (Air 2), or whether you would rather have an interactive companion.

History

The EBO SE appeared in January 2022 as the entry-level model from the Beijing-based brand Enabot. Two years later, in January 2024, the company launched the pricier EBO Air 2 - we have the launch entry on record. Both models have a spherical design on wheels. We do not derive a generation name between them; they are two lines that differ in features. About the manufacturer: Enabot. The 2022 model remains on sale alongside the newer 2024 Air 2 as the cheaper option in the family.
