Moflin is Casio's small, fur-covered AI pet robot, launched in Japan in November 2024 and in the US and UK in October 2025. It has no legs or wheels: two axes move the head (rotation and tilt) while a speaker produces creature-like sounds.
Touch, light, microphone and motion sensors feed Casio's proprietary emotion model, which develops an individual personality over roughly 50 days; processing happens on the device and the MofLife app shows its emotional state. Moflin measures 130 x 90 x 180 mm, weighs about 260 g and runs up to 5 hours on a 3.7 V, 1200 mAh battery. Strengths: simple, quiet comfort robot.
Limits: very limited motion and no camera or home functions.
