Unveiled by Xiaomi in August 2022, CyberOne is a humanoid research platform that stands 1.77 m tall, weighs 52 kg and has 21 degrees of freedom, plus an emotion-recognition system called Mi-Sense. It walks at up to 1 m/s and carries 1.5 kg, modest numbers next to industrial humanoids such as the Unitree H1 or Fourier GR-1, and a fair reflection of its role as a demonstration and research platform rather than a commercial product. A second generation of CyberOne was shown in April 2026, and press reports from July 2026 say the robot is working in a pilot at Xiaomi's electric-vehicle factory, where task success at a screw-tightening station rose from 90.2% in March 2026 to 98% in July 2026. CEO Lei Jun posted footage from the production floor on July 15, 2026.
CyberOne has never gone on sale, either to consumers or to businesses. The widely repeated figure of 89,000-104,000 USD is Lei Jun's 2022 estimate of what it cost to build (600,000-700,000 CNY), not a market price, so the actual market price remains unknown. The model is of interest mainly to researchers and to anyone following Xiaomi's humanoid work. It cannot be bought in Poland or anywhere else.

Running and deployment costs
There is no sale price, because CyberOne was never offered on the market. The often-repeated 89,000-104,000 USD is a 2022 production-cost estimate given by CEO Lei Jun (600,000-700,000 CNY), not a price a customer pays. That is why we leave the price field empty. It is a good example of how easily manufacturing cost gets mistaken for market price.
As a rough estimate: if such a prototype did go on sale, it would cost more than its production cost, since margin, service and support would be added on top. There is still no basis for quoting a specific figure. The pilot inside Xiaomi costs no customer anything, because the robot works in its maker's own factory.
For a Polish company the real question is therefore not "how much does CyberOne cost" but "how much does a humanoid I can actually buy cost". The answer is in “How Much Does a Humanoid Robot Cost in 2026”, and the method for calculating the whole picture is in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications
What it's for
CyberOne was unveiled in August 2022: a humanoid 177 cm tall, weighing 52 kg, with 21 degrees of freedom (DOF). Xiaomi presented it as a robot that could recognize human emotions through its Mi-Sense system. Walking speed is around 1 m/s, and payload is a mere 1.5 kg, about the weight of a good book. That number says a lot about the intent: CyberOne was meant to showcase technology and build interest in the brand, not to move pallets.
So what might it be useful for? The first area is demonstrations: a humanoid on a conference stage, at an electronics trade show or in a company showroom draws a crowd, as you can see in events. The second is human-robot interaction research, where reading the mood of the person in front of you matters. The third is a pilot inside its maker's own factory: according to 2026 reports, CyberOne is working pilot shifts at Xiaomi's electric-vehicle plant, the place where the company tests how much of this technology carries over into production.
The most important caveat: CyberOne has never been sold, either at retail or to businesses. There is no price, no battery runtime figure and no deployment with outside customers. We therefore treat it as an interesting prototype from the history of the industry, not as a product you can buy. How humanoids are built in practice is covered in “How Does a Humanoid Robot Work”.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Best suited to: readers who follow the strategies of large electronics groups and want to understand how Xiaomi approaches humanoids; market analysts and journalists comparing prototypes with models that are actually sold; students who need an example of a humanoid built around emotional interaction.
A poor fit: anyone who wants to buy a robot, because CyberOne was never put on sale. It is also unsuited to physical work: with a 1.5 kg payload it cannot carry even a toolbox. If you are looking for a humanoid for a lab, see educational robots; if for a factory, read “Humanoid Robots in Factories 2026”. People who want an inexpensive robot for fun at home are better served by home robots or the quadrupeds in quadruped robots.
Deployments
The only described use is pilot shifts inside Xiaomi's electric-vehicle factory, according to 2026 reports. We do not know the scale, the number of robots or the tasks, so we do not treat this as a reference for outside customers.
What is actually available here in this category? Unitree robots from Polish resellers, humanoid rental for events (“Renting a Humanoid Robot for an Event”) and a growing number of robots in warehouses (“AMR Robots in the Warehouse”). Chinese companies with real deployments are covered in “Chinese Humanoid Robots”.
Comparison
The closest comparison we put next to CyberOne is the Unitree H1, a model sold as a research platform, listed at around PLN 348,900 (≈ EUR 79,950 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026). We frame the pair as a 2022 prototype versus a research model you can actually buy.
If you want a humanoid that is available in Poland and cheaper, choose the Unitree G1 at around PLN 52,300 (≈ EUR 11,980), with Polish resellers and an EDU version with an open SDK.
For fans of the "humanoid from a carmaker" idea, the reference point is Tesla Optimus Gen 2. It is also a project without confirmed commercial availability; see “Tesla Optimus: What We Actually Know (as of September 2026)”.
For industry, where CyberOne falls short because of its small payload, the UBTech Walker S2 with a 15 kg payload is a better fit.
If you are curious what Xiaomi actually sells, look at the Xiaomi CyberDog 2, a quadruped at around PLN 6,980 (≈ EUR 1,600).
In comparisons with the CyberOne, its 1.5 kg payload rules it out for work tasks, so the choice of another model depends on the task and on service availability.

History
CyberOne was unveiled in August 2022 and from the start was a showcase of the company's capabilities, not a product. Xiaomi gave a production-cost estimate of 600,000-700,000 CNY at the time, which later began circulating online as a supposed price. The next public step was August 2023 and the launch of the CyberDog 2 quadruped. The humanoid remained a prototype, and in 2026 reports appeared of pilot shifts at Xiaomi's electric-vehicle factory. Over the same period competitors moved from presentations to sales: see “Humanoid Robot Market Forecasts” and the profile of Xiaomi.
