Flexiv MICO

Introduced in March 2026, the MICO is Flexiv's compact answer to the question of what a dual-arm robot looks like without a mobile base. Two 7-axis arms provide 14 degrees of freedom, each rated at 5 kg with 752 mm of reach and plus or minus 0.05 mm repeatability.

Summary

Introduced in March 2026, the MICO is Flexiv's compact answer to the question of what a dual-arm robot looks like without a mobile base. Two 7-axis arms provide 14 degrees of freedom, each rated at 5 kg with 752 mm of reach and plus or minus 0.05 mm repeatability. Force sensing resolves 0.1 N, and control runs through the Flexiv RDK at 1 kHz in real-time or non-real-time mode.

Four configurations are offered: Armor at 55 kg, Core at 53 kg, Plus at 79 kg and Ultra, for which no weight is given; the catalogue values refer to the Core. Height, power supply and ingress protection are not published. The MICO is on sale, price on request, and targets industry, retail and research, wherever two cobot-grade arms are needed at a fixed workstation.

Its mobile sibling from the same maker is the Flexiv AICO 2, built on the same force-controlled arms but with a driving base and far more mass. For integrators the MICO is a dual-arm cell rather than a free-roaming humanoid, which is also why it sits at the stationary end of this catalogue.
