Elephant Robotics positions the myCobot Pro 600 as a bridge between its educational arms and full industrial cobots. The starting price at the reseller Top3DShop is 8,799 USD, or 34,106.68 PLN (≈ EUR 7,800) at the 3.8762 rate of 1 October 2026.

At that price the natural point of comparison becomes the Universal Robots UR5e, an established industrial cobot with a 5 kg payload and a broad integration ecosystem, against which the myCobot Pro 600 must prove comparable reliability in continuous operation while having a much shorter track record on the market.

The model's strength is a price clearly below typical industrial cobots of the UR or Fanuc CRX class, which makes it interesting for smaller integrators entering light automation. Its weakness remains its short market history: although the payload (2 kg), reach (600 mm) and weight (8.8 kg) are confirmed on the manufacturer's official website, it is hard to judge real competitiveness against established industrial brands without independent testing.

Availability in Poland is not confirmed; sales run mainly through Western resellers such as Top3DShop, which means import and extra logistics costs for a Polish buyer.

Running and deployment costs

Purchase: the starting price at the reseller Top3DShop is 8,799 USD, or about 34,107 PLN (≈ EUR 7,800) at the 3.8762 rate of 1 October 2026. Import costs and VAT come on top and cannot be given as a single figure, since they depend on the supplier and shipping mode. A gripper, camera and mounts are a separate budget. As a rough estimate, a complete station with tooling, mounting and software can cost more than ten thousand zloty extra than the arm alone, and more still with outside integration. Tooling for arms like this is offered by, among others, OnRobot and Robotiq. Running costs: the robot is electric and light, so power consumption is negligible compared with a human working shifts. The real cost is programmer time. Training depends on whether the team already knows ROS or Python; otherwise plan for weeks of learning. Tax relief: companies filing taxes may use Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację), which deducts part of the investment cost from the tax base. The rules, limits and documentation requirements are described in “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”. For a method of calculating total cost of ownership see “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”, and for buying step by step see “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.

Applications

What it's for

The myCobot Pro 600 feels most at home in a small prototyping workshop or a university lab, where the question is whether the arm hits a hole with a repeatability of around ±0.5 mm. Its maker, Elephant Robotics of Shenzhen, positions it as a bridge between desktop educational arms and full industrial cobots. It has 6 axes, 600 mm reach, a 2 kg payload and weighs 8.8 kg, so you can carry it under one arm, no trolley or crane needed. In practice this is equipment for light automation. Typical fields are light automation and prototyping: stations for moving components, learning kinematics and programming at technical schools and universities, and demo stands at trade shows, where low weight and quick set-up matter. What it is not is a robot for heavy work on the shop floor. Two kilograms of payload including the gripper is not much, since the gripper alone can eat half of it. For palletizing, tending machines with heavy parts or welding, you need larger designs, covered in our article “What Is a Cobot and How Does It Differ from an Industrial Robot”. Keep in mind too that the maker builds its arms around open controllers, which suits experimentation but does not replace the certified safety package known from industrial lines; the standards are covered in “Robot Safety Standards”. More on use in schools is in universities and laboratories, and on small-scale production in factories.

Typical applications

  • light industrial automation

Who it's for

A fit for small integrators and R&D departments that want to test an automation idea before investing in an arm of the UR7e class. Universities and technical schools, where price and an open platform matter. Workshops where the arm will run a few hours a day with light parts, not three shifts without a break.

Not a fit for plants that need documented reliability in continuous operation, certified safety functions and local service. The model has a short market history and independent durability tests are scarce. We also do not recommend it to anyone counting on fast support in Polish: sales run mainly through Western resellers, so expect import and waiting time for spare parts. If you are just learning how a cobot differs from an industrial robot, start with “Cobot or Industrial Robot”.

Deployments

The maker and sellers describe it as a device for prototyping and light automation, but without a verifiable customer list. That is why we do not write about any factory or school using it. In Poland you will most often meet a cobot in the form of the UR5e or UR10e, and in small companies increasingly cheaper arms from China as well. An overview of the Polish integrator market is in “Polish Robotics Companies” and in cobots.

Comparison

Three directions, depending on what matters most to you.

The igus ReBeL is the cheapest route in our catalog, around 22,680 PLN (≈ EUR 5,190) as converted. It makes sense when budget is the main barrier and the tasks are simple and light. igus knows cheap, durable motion, having made bearings and guides for years.

The JAKA Zu 7 costs around 58,143 PLN (≈ EUR 13,300) and is a cobot in the full sense, with a higher payload and an industrial approach to continuous work. Choose it when the robot is headed for a production line, not a lab bench.

The UR7e is the path for those who value the Universal Robots ecosystem: plenty of accessories, integrators and training. We give no price because our catalog does not confirm one. From the maker's own family, also look at the desktop myCobot 280.

History

Elephant Robotics was founded in 2016 in Shenzhen and for years built its brand on small, cheap arms for makers and schools: the myCobot 280 with an M5Stack controller and the myCobot 320. The Pro 600 is its step toward industry. Our catalog gives no launch date or start of sales for this model, so we do not guess. We do know that the starting price and parameters come from the manufacturer's official site and the Top3DShop store, and that the family today also includes the myCobot 320 and the variant myCobot 280. Beyond arms, the maker also develops robot pets and the Mercury humanoid platform. It sells all of this through electronics distributors, including in Europe. The history of the model itself is therefore short, and its reputation depends mainly on how it fares with its first industrial users.
