Summary

  • ManufacturerJAKA Robotics

The JAKA Zu 7 pricing data should be treated with caution. The aggregator gives a range of 12,000 to 18,000 USD and an average of 15,000 USD (about 58,140 PLN (≈ EUR 13,320) at the rate of 3.8762 from 1.10.2026), but itself cautions that it rests on 0 verified prices, so the figure needs direct confirmation from a JAKA distributor. The 6 axes and electric drive are common to the whole family.

The Zu 7's strengths are a broad base of deployments in Europe and the roughly 8% share of the European cobot market that the manufacturer claims, which makes it easier to find experienced integrators. Its weakness remains the pricing uncertainty and the lack of a confirmed Polish sales channel; in the region JAKA uses the distributor Elvotec, which does not cover Poland.

The model is worth considering for assembly and basic material handling, as long as the budget is not set solely on the basis of this uncertain estimate.

Price and availability in Poland

approx. 58,100 PLN* (≈ EUR 13,310) converted from 15,000 USD, NBP rate 3.8762, as of 1 October 2026 · Updated: September 2026 · Source (robotsourced.com)

The aggregator's price range is 12,000 to 18,000 USD, with the average given. The source itself notes it is based on 0 verified prices. LOW RELIABILITY: it must be verified directly with a JAKA distributor.

Running and deployment costs

The biggest unknown here is the price. The aggregator gives a range of 12,000 to 18,000 USD and an average of 15,000 USD, or about 58,140 PLN (≈ EUR 13,320) at the rate of 3.8762 adopted in our catalog for 1.10.2026. The same service cautions, however, that it rests on 0 verified prices. Treat this amount as an estimate, not an offer.

The robot itself is usually the smaller part of the bill. As a rough estimate, add the gripper, the workstation, integration and commissioning, often more than the arm itself, especially on a first deployment. It draws little energy, and service depends on the distributor, which we have not confirmed in Poland. For operator training, allow for the cost of several days of a programmer's and an operator's time.

Tax support: Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację) allows an additional 50% deduction of eligible costs, but it applies to industrial robots under a narrow definition and runs for 2022 to 2026 (an extension has been announced but is unconfirmed). Whether a specific cobot qualifies is for a tax adviser to decide; details in “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”.

Applications

What it's for

The JAKA Zu 7 is the middle child in a family of six-axis cobots from Shanghai: 7 kg payload, 819 mm reach, electric drive. The manufacturer aims it at industry and names assembly and material handling as typical tasks, and that is exactly where it makes sense.

For assembly and material handling, seven kilograms is enough to move parts together with a gripper (equipment of the kind offered by Robotiq), but not to haul entire crates.

The second typical role is machine tending, covering machine tools, injection molders and presses, in a factory running small and medium batches. A cobot does not need a safety cage as long as the risk assessment confirms it (more in the piece on “Robot Safety Standards”). The Zu 7 sits between the smaller JAKA Zu 3 (626 mm and 3 kg) and the larger JAKA Zu 12 (1327 mm and 12 kg): it reaches farther and lifts more than the Zu 3, but will not replace the Zu 12 for heavy parts or tall pallets. Who it's for

Yes: for plants that want to automate light assembly or part feeding and value being able to talk to an integrator who knows the brand. The manufacturer claims about 8% of the European cobot market, so this is not an exotic choice, but that is its own claim, not an independent measurement. Also yes for laboratories and vocational schools that need only a solid six-axis arm.

No: for companies that must buy an arm with a Polish distributor's support right now. In our catalog JAKA has no confirmed sales channel in Poland; in the region it uses the distributor Elvotec, which does not cover Poland. No also for anyone who plans a budget based solely on a single price range from an aggregator (more on that below) and does not intend to ask for a quote. Anyone considering a first purchase should see the guide “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.

Deployments

We have documented neither the JAKA Zu 7 nor the JAKA brand as a whole in domestic plants, and our catalog lacks a Polish distributor. From manufacturer data we know only that the company counts Toyota among its customers and claims a broad installed base in Europe; we have no named cases with a location.

Polish buyers of cobots today mostly reach for brands with local support; you will find an overview in cobots and in the roundup “Polish Robotics Companies”.

Comparison

UR7e is the direct counterpart from the Universal Robots family with a 7.5 kg payload. It has confirmed sellers in Poland (elmark.com.pl), so it is the safer purchase.

FANUC CRX-5iA is a cobot from the Japanese group with a 5 kg payload, offered in Poland by spawalnictwo.pl. Choose it when you want a brand with long experience in classic robotization.

Doosan A0509 is a Korean cobot with a 5 kg payload and 21 kg of its own weight, available in a family with Polish support (see “Doosan Robotics: Cobots from the Korean Maker in Poland”).

KUKA LBR iisy 6 R1300 is a pricier German variant of the iisy with a 6 kg payload, sold by zapamet.pl; sensible if you value service close to home and are ready to pay more.

History

JAKA Robotics was founded in Shanghai in 2014 and develops two cobot lines, Zu and Pro. The Zu 7 belongs to the Zu series, alongside the Zu 3 and Zu 12, and in our catalog has the status on sale. The manufacturer boasts, among other things, of being a supplier to Toyota and having about 8% of the European cobot market; both claims come from the company.

We have not confirmed the Zu 7's launch date in the sources. One thing is worth noting: JAKA's official site gives a reach of 819 mm for the Zu 7; the 954 mm figure you may find online corresponds to the smaller Zu 5. When comparing datasheets, consult the guide “How to Read a Robot Datasheet”.
