Available in PolandIntroduced in May 2025, the UR7e replaced the popular UR5e, keeping the 920 mm reach and ±0.03 mm repeatability but raising the payload from 5 kg to 7.5 kg, hence the new name in the lineup. It weighs 20.6 kg, has six axes and a force/torque sensor at the tool flange. Together with the UR12e and UR15 it went on sale as part of the 2025 refresh of the Universal Robots range, available off the shelf.
Compared with the smaller UR3e (3 kg payload, 540 mm reach), the UR7e is more versatile for assembly and machine tending with heavier grippers, while remaining lighter and cheaper than the UR20 (20 kg payload). The manufacturer does not publish a price; cost information is available only from distributors, represented in Poland by elmark.com.pl. Data on height and linear speed are not available in our catalog.
The UR7e is aimed at plants running medium-batch production where the UR5e used to be the standard and a somewhat higher payload is now needed without moving up to a heavier and more expensive class of cobots.

No publicly available price; successor to the UR5e with increased payload (from 5 kg to 7.5 kg).
The manufacturer does not publish a price for the UR7e, so, honestly: we do not know it. Reference points come from its predecessors: the UR5e has an indicative price of 35,000 USD (about 136 thousand PLN) and the UR10e 45,000 USD (about 174 thousand PLN), but those are prices from roundups, not quotes. As a rough estimate the UR7e falls in the same order of magnitude; quotes are provided by elmark.com.pl. The arm alone is usually only part of the budget: the gripper, camera, stand, safeguards and integration can double the bill. Add operator training (roughly a few days, as an estimate) and periodic inspections. Energy? A cobot draws little compared with a whole line, so in the calculation it is a marginal item. Funding: Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację) allows an additional deduction of 50% of eligible costs (2022 to 2026; an extension has been announced but not yet enacted); it also covers grippers, sensors and training. Whether a specific arm qualifies, confirm with an advisor; see “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”. Grippers and sensors can be bought from suppliers such as Robotiq, OnRobot or ATI Industrial Automation.

The UR7e was made for stations where the UR5e was starting to be too weak and the UR10e too big and too expensive. When the gripper and the part together exceed the UR5e's 5 kg payload, until recently that meant a jump up a class. The UR7e catches that gap: 7.5 kg of payload at a 920 mm reach, six axes and a weight of 20.6 kg, so it can be moved from one cell to another without a crane. The applications listed for this model are assembly, pick&place and machine tending. In practice: loading and unloading a CNC machine tool or an injection molding machine, moving parts between a conveyor and an inspection table, feeding and pressing parts on an assembly line. The force/torque sensor at the tip lets the arm "feel" resistance, which is useful where a part has to be pressed in, screwed or pushed into place without damage. In the cobots category that is in fact the most common scenario: a task that is repetitive, monotonous and hard on the back, but not demanding extreme speed. If you are just wondering how a cobot differs from a classic robot, see “What Is a Cobot and How Does It Differ from an Industrial Robot” and “Cobot or Industrial Robot”. The UR7e is not a robot for palletizing heavy sacks or welding large structures; higher classes step in there, such as the UR20. On the other hand, on a typical medium-sized shop floor (factories) it can replace several separate cells with one universal arm.
The UR7e is for companies with medium batch sizes, changing orders and at least one employee ready to learn to program the arm on a tablet. It fits a plant where the UR5e was the standard until now, but the parts or grippers have become heavier. It also fits the plans of firms that want to invest once in the Universal Robots ecosystem and expand it with further arms. It is not for you if you make millions of identical pieces in cycles of a second: there a classic industrial robot in a cage will be faster and cheaper per cycle. Nor is it for someone looking for an arm to palletize heavy cartons or parts above a few kilograms including the gripper: in that case look at the UR12e or UR20. And finally, do not buy it "by feel": the price is not public, and the cost of integration can matter as much as the cost of the arm itself. How to go through this process step by step is described in “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.
The model has been on the market since May 2025 and the manufacturer has not published a reference list. So, honestly: no confirmed deployments in Poland. What is certain? The UR7e is available through two distributors, elmark.com.pl, and the entire UR family is officially distributed in Poland. An overview of the category, “Cobots”, shows that Polish plants are dominated by the tasks the UR7e was designed for: machine tending, palletizing, quality inspection and packing.
The nearest neighbor is the UR5e, the predecessor of the UR7e, smaller in payload (5 kg) and still listed with an indicative price of 35,000 USD; a good option if 5 kg is enough for you. Above it stands the UR12e with a 12.5 kg payload and a 1,300 mm reach, useful with heavier grippers and larger stations. If assembly speed matters, look at the ABB SWIFTI CRB 1300: 6.2 m/s and up to 11 kg of payload (we have not confirmed a Polish distributor). For tasks that require recognizing non-standard objects the Neura MAiRA S is interesting, with a 3D camera and AI, but clearly more expensive (about 37,500 EUR according to a reseller aggregate). From the Japanese world it is worth checking the Yaskawa Motoman HC10, a cobot with six torque sensors in the joints, though heavier (47 kg). Detailed comparisons of the family can be found in “Universal Robots UR5e, UR10e and UR20 Compared”.
Universal Robots was founded in 2005 in Odense, Denmark; since 2015 it has belonged to the American company Teradyne. It is a pioneer of cobots and remains among the biggest players in this segment (Universal Robots). The UR7e went on sale in May 2025 as the successor to the UR5e, together with the UR12e and UR15 as part of a refresh of the range. The name change is not cosmetic: the payload rose from 5 to 7.5 kg, while the 920 mm reach and ±0.03 mm repeatability were retained. For buyers this means the UR5e still works at many stations, but new orders now go to the UR7e.
