Unlike many Chinese competitors, such as Unitree or UBTech, Robot.com does not sell hardware directly but offers a Robot-as-a-Service model, with deployment from request to independent operation in 8-12 weeks.
The design is built around two arms with seven degrees of freedom (DOF) each, an articulated four-DOF torso with a vertical reach of up to 1.9 m, and a holonomic mobile base that can move in any direction without turning. Control uses a vision-language-action (VLA) model complemented by a proprietary expression system called "R SOUL", which handles communication with people.
From launch the robot supports 19 ready-made tasks across five roles, from restaurant assistant to packing and greeting guests, deployed across six industries. Pilots are already under way: packing at a golf course and an advanced test at a food plant.
The strength is the broad catalog of ready-made tasks and the fast deployment; the weakness is the lack of a public price and the still short market history of the R-noid product, even though Robot.com itself has existed since 2017. The model is not available in Poland.

Running and deployment costs
Purchase: there is no buying. Robot.com offers R-noid only as Robot-as-a-Service and gives neither a purchase price nor service rates. So we have no figures for R-noid, and guessing rates would not be reliable. As a rough estimate, in such models the fee is spread into monthly or hourly installments, and the total cost has to be compared with the cost of an employee and with the purchase price of similar humanoids, for example Neura 4NE-1 at about EUR 98,000.
Operation: under a service model, maintenance, updates and part of the integration costs are included in the service price, which simplifies the budget but creates dependence on the provider. The manufacturer does not give battery runtime.
Training: the 8-12 week deployment covers the move from site visit to independent work, so the provider takes on task configuration. The customer's staff have to master supervision and safety procedures.

Applications
What it's for
The manufacturer, Robot.com, describes R-noid pilots: an advanced test at a food plant in the United States, where the robot packs while moving on a fluid, holonomic base sideways and diagonally without turning its body. The second pilot is packing at a golf course. Both involve real work, not a demo.
R-noid is a humanoid built around two arms with seven degrees of freedom, an articulated four-DOF torso with a vertical reach of up to 1.9 m, and a mobile base that does not need to maneuver in arcs. Control is based on a VLA (vision-language-action) model complemented by a proprietary expression system, "R SOUL", which handles communication with people. At launch the robot supports 19 ready-made tasks across five roles, deployed across six industries. The roles include a restaurant assistant, packing, order picking, folding textiles, and reception and greeting guests.
In practice that is three areas. First: hospitality and food service, with a restaurant assistant and reception (restaurants, hotels). Second: logistics and industry, with packing and order picking (warehouses, factories). Third: healthcare and textiles, with textile folding; the manufacturer also lists healthcare among its target groups (hospitals), but we found no details of tasks in that industry in the sources.
What sets it apart is how it is offered: Robot.com does not sell hardware but a service (Robot-as-a-Service), with deployment from site visit to independent work in 8-12 weeks, clearly shorter than a typical integration project in industrial robotics. We write more about expression and human-robot interaction in “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”, and about VLA models in “VLA Models: How AI Controls Humanoid Robots in 2026”.
Typical applications
Who it's for
A good fit: companies that do not want to invest in hardware but pay for work done, since the Robot-as-a-Service model shifts technology risk onto the provider; plants that pack, pick and fold goods, have repetitive tasks and want to check whether the 19 ready-made tasks cover their needs; restaurants and hotels that want to trial a floor assistant as a service, although we know of no named deployments in that industry; market watchers tracking whether the service model gains an edge over selling hardware. About the company: Robot.com.
Not a good choice for: the Polish buyer, since R-noid is not available in Poland and has no local partner; anyone who wants to own the robot, because the manufacturer offers no such option; a company that needs clear parameters (height, weight, payload, runtime), which are missing from the sources; an investor looking for a proven product, since the status is pilot and the market history short.
Deployments
R-noid is not offered here and has no local partner. Abroad, two pilots are under way: packing at a golf course and an advanced test at a food plant. We have no customer names, so we do not give any.
What exists in the category: in food service and hospitality in Poland today, only robots without hands work, wheeled ones such as BellaBot, KettyBot and HolaBot (Pudu HolaBot). In logistics, humanoid trials are run by Mercedes-Benz with Apollo and BMW with Figure. More on food service: “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”.
Comparison
Digit (Agility Digit 5) is a bipedal logistics humanoid, payload 22.7 kg, early access from H1 2027. If you care about moving totes in a warehouse setting, it is an alternative with an openly stated payload.
Apptronik's Apollo (Apptronik Apollo) is a modular humanoid tested by Mercedes-Benz and GXO Logistics, in B2B pilots only. A similar situation to R-noid: no public price, but named partners.
Figure 03 (Figure 03) is 172 cm, 61 kg, 35 DOF, and already works in a BMW factory. Stronger deployment proof, but no public price and no sales in Poland.
Neura 4NE-1 Gen 3.5 (NEURA 4NE-1 Gen 3.5) is an industrial humanoid, 180 cm/80 kg, about EUR 98,000, deliveries from late 2026. For someone who wants clear purchase terms.
If in food service a robot without hands is enough, look at BellaBot (Pudu BellaBot): about PLN 56,205 (≈ EUR 12,880 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026) and available in Poland, with no subscription model but on the spot.

History
R-noid debuted in June 2026 at the Automate trade show in Chicago. Robot.com presented it as a humanoid offered under a Robot-as-a-Service model, with deployment in 8-12 weeks. It is the first generation of the product, so there are no later versions or change history yet. What is known is that the robot supports 19 tasks from launch, and that the pilots tested packing at a golf course and an advanced test at a food plant. According to our catalog Robot.com has operated since 2017, but R-noid itself is a very young product. Market context: “Humanoid Robot Market Forecasts”.

Can you buy R-noid outright?
No. Robot.com offers it only as a Robot-as-a-Service, with no public purchase price.
What tasks does R-noid perform right now?
From launch it handles 19 tasks across five roles, including restaurant assistant, packer, order picker and receptionist.
