Doosan Robotics' P series breaks away from the rest of the portfolio: these are dedicated palletizing cobots, and the P3020 is their flagship: 30 kg payload with a 2,030 mm reach, the largest in the manufacturer's range covered here. The use is essentially limited to one task, palletizing, where the long reach and high payload let it serve a whole pallet without repositioning the robot.
In the segment of palletizing cobots with similar capacity, competitors include the Fanuc CRX-25iA and Techman TM25s, but we have no verified specifications for them to compare numerically. The P3020's strength is scale: the greatest reach and payload in the Doosan portfolio.
Its weakness is narrow specialization (it is of no use for assembly or pick-and-place) and, as across the brand's range, no published price. In Poland it is available through Transition Technologies-CS (coboty-doosan.pl). Suitable only for high-throughput packing and palletizing lines.

Running and deployment costs
The P3020's price is not public, and the distributor issues the quote. Our catalog also has no price for models from the comparable 30 kg class, so we do not give even an indicative figure for the arm alone. As a rough guide, assume a palletizing station costs many times the price of the arm: add the gripper (vacuum or mechanical), the base, a pallet feeder, scanners or safety sensors and integration with the line. Running costs are energy, inspections and gripper replacement. Operator training is usually short, but the process engineer must learn to configure stacking patterns. How to calculate the payback is shown in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”. Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację) can cover the purchase and training if the robot meets the statutory definition; see “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”; confirm qualification with a tax adviser.

Applications
What it's for
The P3020 does one thing, but at scale: it palletizes. It has a 30 kg payload and a 2,030 mm reach, the largest values in the Doosan range that we cover, plus five degrees of freedom (“Degrees of Freedom (DOF) in Humanoid Robots”), which is entirely sufficient for stacking cartons. The typical workplace is the end of a packing line, where cartons come off the conveyor every few seconds and have to be stacked on a pallet. A palletizing cobot takes over that rhythm. The long reach lets it serve the whole pallet without repositioning the robot, and the 30 kg payload handles cartons as well as shrink-wrapped multipacks or bags. It is one of the most common cobot applications in a factory and in a warehouse. An important limitation: the P3020 is specialized. It is not for assembly or for pick-and-place of small parts; for that choose the Doosan M1013 or Doosan M1509. With a heavy load and fast motion, a risk assessment is mandatory even if the robot has torque sensors; see “Robot Safety Standards”. The differences between a cobot and a classic industrial robot are explained in “Cobot or Industrial Robot”.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Best suited to: high-throughput packing and palletizing lines where a person currently stacks heavy cartons. Also companies that prefer equipment with local service: in Poland the P3020 is offered by Transition Technologies-CS (coboty-doosan.pl).
Who it does not suit: plants that want one robot for many tasks; the P3020 is narrowly specialized and will not serve for assembly or machine tending. Nor is it for those who need a public price for a budget without talking to a distributor. If you are palletizing small loads in a confined space, consider the Doosan M1509. Overview of the class: cobots.
Deployments
We have no confirmed P3020 installations in Poland by company name. Commercial availability is confirmed: Transition Technologies-Control Solutions has handled Doosan distribution in Poland since 2022 (coboty-doosan.pl). For the cobot market in the country, read “Doosan Robotics: Cobots from the Korean Maker in Poland”.
Comparison
There are several high-payload cobots; below is positioning, not a verified comparison of figures.
FANUC CRX-30iA is a cobot from the 30 kg class by a manufacturer with a service network in Polish factories; for those who already have Fanuc.
Techman TM30S is Techman's offering from the top end of payload; interesting if you want to add vision to palletizing.
UR30 is a Universal Robots cobot with a high payload and a rich ecosystem of accessories.
UR20 has a lower payload but a long reach; an option when pallets are lighter.

History
The P3020 comes from the P series, Doosan Robotics' dedicated palletizing cobots. The brand was founded in 2015 in Suwon and has been listed on the KOSPI exchange since 2023. The P series reaches up to 30 kg of payload, making it the strongest in the portfolio alongside the H series (20-25 kg). We have no launch date for the P3020, so we do not state one. About the company: Doosan Robotics.
