The JAKA Pro 12 is a reinforced, waterproof version of the cobot from the Chinese maker's Pro series. It is sold with an IP68 rating, with controller and software included in the package, among others by the European distributor Pronet-connected.
A 12 kg payload and 6 axes of motion put it in the mid-size industrial cobot segment, able to work in washdown and dirty conditions where standard arms without a proper enclosure would not survive. That is a rare trait in this payload class and a clear advantage over lighter, budget-oriented designs such as the igus ReBeL, which offer no such resistance.
The manufacturer, Shanghai-based JAKA Robotics, founded in 2014, claims roughly 8% of the European cobot market and deliveries to Toyota on a global scale, alongside its main Zu series (models Zu3 to Zu35, payload 3 to 35 kg, wireless programming by hand-guiding the arm).
The weak point is an incomplete specification: the reach, repeatability and price of the Pro 12 have not been confirmed from an official JAKA source, and the data comes solely from the distributor. A presence in Poland is not confirmed. JAKA has distribution through, among others, the Hungarian partner Elvotec, but no dedicated Polish representative has been identified.
The model is worth considering mainly for integrators working in environments that demand washdown or heavy dust protection.

Running and deployment costs
There is no Pro 12 price. It has not been confirmed from an official JAKA source, and the distributor does not show it.
For scale, look at the 10 to 12 kg class: the UR10e is about 159,645 PLN (≈ EUR 36,580 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026), and the AUBO i10 about 21,000 EUR net from a German distributor, which is clearly less than the UR. As a rough estimate, an IP68 version from a Chinese manufacturer should land somewhere in a wide range from several tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand PLN for the arm alone. That is orientation only, not an offer. On top come the gripper, integration, safeguarding and import; the real cost of a work cell is a multiple of the arm's price.
Training: JAKA relies on programming by hand-guiding the arm, so basic learning is short, but integration in a harsh environment takes experience. Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację): the purchase cost of a new industrial robot can be deducted an additional 50%, and the relief covers expenses from 2022 to 2026 (“Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”). If you want to use it, the expense has to land in 2026, and the sources contain no announcement of an extension.

Applications
What it's for
The JAKA Pro 12 is a cobot with an IP68 rating, meaning an enclosure resistant to dust and immersion. That is exactly what sets it apart from ordinary arms, which fear water and dirt, and it points to stations where equipment is washed down regularly or works in a dirty environment.
That kind of resistance pays off wherever the environment is wet or dirty: machining with coolant, parts washing, paint shops, and food plants where hygiene calls for regular washdowns (factories). A 12 kg payload and 6 axes put it in the mid-size cobot segment, suited to machine loading, moving parts, simple machine tending and packing. For more on what a collaborative robot actually is, see “What Is a Cobot and How Does It Differ from an Industrial Robot”.
To be upfront: the price, reach and repeatability of the Pro 12 have not been confirmed from an official JAKA source. The data comes from the distributor Pronet-connected, which sells it with the controller and software in the package. Our catalog shows a reach of 1327 mm, but the same figure appears for the Zu 12, so we treat it with caution. The manufacturer, Shanghai-based JAKA Robotics, is known in Europe mainly for the Zu series, and the Pro is its reinforced, waterproof edition. For integrators working in tough conditions, it is one of the few options with this protection class at this payload. The cobots category has more arms in this range.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Yes: for integrators and plants that need a cobot for wet, dusty or washdown stations, from machining to food production. Also yes for companies willing to negotiate directly with the distributor and verify the documentation themselves, because the full specification is not publicly confirmed.
No: for companies that want to buy off the shelf with local service, as no JAKA representative in Poland has been identified. No for users planning a first deployment without an integrator, since the lack of local support is a risk. And no for dry, clean stations where IP68 is an unnecessary premium; the cheaper JAKA Zu 7 or the lightweight igus ReBeL would do. Before you order anything, look at the guide “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step” and the overview of standards in “Robot Safety Standards”.
Deployments
JAKA has no identified representative here, and the European partner is the Hungarian company Elvotec, which does not cover the Polish market. Globally the manufacturer boasts of deliveries to Toyota, but specific Pro 12 installations have not been confirmed.
Other brands are active in the category in Poland: UR (elmark.com.pl), Doosan (coboty-doosan.pl), Techman (TFM Robotics), Yaskawa (yaskawa.pl) and FANUC (spawalnictwo.pl). You can compare their offers in “Universal Robots UR5e, UR10e and UR20 Compared” and “Doosan Robotics: Cobots from the Korean Maker in Poland”.
Comparison
JAKA Zu 12 is a direct sibling from the same family: 12 kg payload, 1327 mm reach, for palletizing and heavier handling. It is not waterproof, but it is in the catalog; price unknown.
UR10e is the Universal Robots UR10e: 12.5 kg payload, 1300 mm reach, sold in Poland through elmark.com.pl, about 159,645 PLN (≈ EUR 36,580) in our catalog. It costs more but comes with Polish support and a large community.
Techman TM12 offers a 12 kg payload, 1300 mm reach and built-in 2D vision; in Poland via TFM Robotics, price on request. A good choice when you need part recognition without buying a separate camera.
Doosan A0912 has 6 axes, a 9 kg payload, 1200 mm reach and repeatability of ±0.05 mm, and is available in Poland through coboty-doosan.pl.
AUBO i10 has a 10 kg payload and 1350 mm reach; a German distributor lists about 21,000 EUR net, with no official distribution in Poland.

History
JAKA Robotics was founded in Shanghai in 2014. The manufacturer claims about 8% of the European cobot market and global deliveries to Toyota; these are company claims, not independently verified data. The main line is the Zu series (models Zu 3 to Zu 35, payload 3 to 35 kg, programming by hand-guiding the arm).
The Pro 12 is the reinforced, waterproof version from the Pro series. We do not know the launch date; our catalog does not have one, and we found no separate events about this model in the manufacturer's timeline, so the history here is short and rests only on what the sources confirm.
