The SWIFTI CRB 1300 is an ABB cobot positioned as a bridge between classic industrial robots and safe cobots: it reaches a TCP speed of up to 6.2 m/s and a repeatability of 0.01 mm, figures closer to fast industrial robots than to typical cobots such as the GoFa or Universal Robots.
The payload of the base version is 11 kg, with variants of 7/10/11 kg and a reach of 0.9–1.4 m. Unlike the GoFa CRB 15000 from the same ABB range, the manufacturer publishes no price: there is no verified figure, and you need to contact a distributor. The robot has been on sale since 2021; we have not confirmed a Polish distributor, so a quote has to be requested from ABB Sp. z o.o. or an ABB integrator.
It works well for fast assembly and pick-and-place where an ordinary cobot would be too slow and a classic industrial robot would need a fenced-off work zone. The limitations are a lower payload than typical industrial robots and the lack of price transparency, which makes a preliminary investment calculation hard without a sales conversation.
Suited to plants looking for the speed of an industrial robot without giving up safe collaboration with people, and willing to negotiate the price individually.

Running and deployment costs
Here comes the most important caveat: ABB does not publish a price for the SWIFTI CRB 1300, and we hold no verified figure. We are not making up a number. To learn the cost, you need to contact ABB Sp. z o.o. or an ABB integrator.
For orientation: another ABB cobot, the GoFa CRB 15000, is priced at about EUR 33,700 (about PLN 147,500), and the UR10e at about PLN 160,000. A fast industrial-class robot will, as an estimate, fall in a similar or higher price category, but that is only an order of magnitude, not a quote. On top of the arm's price come a gripper, safeguarding, integration and training. Running costs are low, with mains power and no batteries, but at high speeds joint inspection matters. Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację) may return part of the costs (“Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”). You will find the full method for judging profitability in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”; it applies to a cobot in the same way.

Applications
What it's for
The SWIFTI CRB 1300 is a cobot for fast assembly and pick-and-place of small parts. An ordinary cobot would be too slow, while a classic industrial robot would need a cage and a fenced-off zone, which eats up floor space and commissioning time. The SWIFTI CRB 1300 was built for exactly that gap: ABB positions it as a bridge between an industrial robot and a cobot. TCP speed reaches 6.2 m/s, repeatability is 0.01 mm, and every joint has torque and position sensors that let the robot respond to contact with a person. The data lists two tasks: pick-and-place and assembly, both in a fast version. Payloads of 7, 10 and 11 kg and a reach of 0.9 to 1.4 m let you match the arm to the cell: shorter for small parts, longer when it must serve a wider table or several feeders. In factories it makes sense where throughput is counted in pieces per minute: packing small items, loading components into machines, or fast assembly of parts. In warehouses it is useful for picking light items, provided the work is done at a fixed station. What can't it do? It won't replace a heavy industrial robot for parts over 11 kg, and its speed does not mean freedom: when working with people, a risk assessment must be carried out according to the standards described in “Robot Safety Standards”. More on the difference between a cobot and an industrial robot in “Cobot or Industrial Robot”.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Yes: for plants that want the speed of an industrial robot without giving up the safety of collaborating with people. Yes: for companies ready to negotiate the price individually with a distributor, since there is no public price list. Yes: for integrators building fast pick-and-place or assembly cells.
No: for those who need a large payload; up to 11 kg is less than in a typical industrial robot. No: for buyers who want to know the price before the first conversation; calculating without a quote is impossible. No: for beginners without integrator support; a fast robot requires a careful risk assessment. If you are just starting out, take a look at “What Is a Cobot and How Does It Differ from an Industrial Robot” and “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.
Deployments
We have no confirmed, named deployment of the SWIFTI CRB 1300, either in Poland or worldwide. We have not confirmed a Polish distributor, but ABB has a company in the country, ABB Sp. z o.o., so local support exists. Ask the manufacturer for references from the electronics or packaging industry. The cobots category lists models that perform similar tasks, and examples from the Polish market are described in, among others, the article on the Doosan brand: “Doosan Robotics: Cobots from the Korean Maker in Poland”.
Comparison
UR7e: the “assembly speed versus versatility” comparison as we frame it: the UR7e (7.5 kg payload) is slower but more flexible and more widely supported by integrators.
ABB GoFa CRB 15000: from the same ABB family; 5 kg payload, speed up to 2.2 m/s and a price of about PLN 148,000 (≈ EUR 33,910 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026), which makes it the only ABB cobot whose price we can cite.
FANUC CRX-10iA: a FANUC cobot in the 10 kg class; slower, but with a reputation for reliability; more in “FANUC CRX: The Cobot Series with 8 Years of Zero Maintenance”.
Yaskawa Motoman HC10: 10 kg payload and a reach of 1,379 mm; an alternative for those who want more reach instead of speed.
Techman TM12: 12 kg payload; worth including in the comparison when payload headroom matters more than speed.

History
The SWIFTI CRB 1300 reached the market in 2021 as part of ABB's new generation of cobots, alongside the GoFa. ABB is a Swiss-Swedish group, founded in its present form in 1988, with its robotics center in Västerås. The model has been on sale since launch, in three payload variants of 7, 10 and 11 kg and with a reach of 0.9–1.4 m. We have no record of later generations or modifications. For context on the family, see “FANUC CRX: The Cobot Series with 8 Years of Zero Maintenance” (the competition) and “Cobot or Industrial Robot”.
