Summary

Keenon Robotics, the Shanghai maker of DINERBOT delivery and KLEENBOT cleaning robots, announced its first humanoid, the XMAN-R1, on 31 March 2025. Rather than walking on legs, the robot sets a humanoid upper body on a wheeled chassis, a layout the Chinese press describes as a fusion of wheeled and humanoid forms.

A manufacturer product catalogue lists 36 degrees of freedom, a height of 175 cm and a weight of 75 kg; these are catalogue values, not a formal data sheet, and another listing quotes a different weight. Since October 2025 the XMAN-R1 has worked at the Shangri-La Hotel Shanghai, which Keenon calls the first smart hotel run by universal and specialised robots together.

At the Boao Forum 2025 it handled check-in, reception, guided tours and coffee delivery alongside delivery robots, and at WAIC 2026 it served as an autonomous barista; Keenon states that none of its humanoid demonstrations use teleoperation. Intended fields are hotels, restaurants, laundries and retail, always in combination with the existing fleet such as the Keenon DINERBOT T10.

The status is pilot, because deployment is proven but orderability is not; price on request.
