How this table is built

REK does not publish per-fight results. Its fights page shows totals (15 events, 9 cities on 15 October 2026), one winning pilot per event and links to videos. This page collects everything that can be documented, under three rules:

  • Every row has a source with the date the source gives.
  • Contradictions stay visible. Where two sources disagree, both are named and the result is marked as disputed.
  • Nothing is derived from videos alone. Robot names, methods and durations appear only if a written source states them.

We update the table when REK or reputable media publish new results. If you have a better source for a row, write to us via the contact page.

What can be said about records

With so few documented results, a ranking would be invented. What the data does support:

Record Holder Source
Most events won Hiroyuki Osone, 2 (REK Tokyo, REK 2) REK
Youngest winning pilot reported "Dash", 13 years old, REK 1 Rest of World
Largest reported audience REK 0, about 3,000 Reflex Arc
First REK fight with weapons Deathmatch, 9 Oct 2026 REK
Model in most documented bouts Unitree G1 and EngineAI T800, 4 bouts each table above

The G1 count covers REK 0, REK 1, the first human bout and the first Deathmatch bout; the T800 count covers the REK 2 final, two human bouts and the second Deathmatch bout. The robots in the Deathmatch main event are large, but no source names their model, so they are not counted.

The robots: manufacturer data and REK's figures

Unitree G1 EngineAI T800
Height 132 cm (Unitree) 173 cm (EngineAI)
Weight about 35 kg (Unitree); REK shop: 33 kg for the "G1-E" 75–85 kg (EngineAI)
Degrees of freedom 23, EDU 23–43 (Unitree) 25 to 46 by edition (EngineAI)
Peak torque knee 90 Nm, EDU 120 Nm (Unitree) up to 450 Nm (EngineAI)
Battery 9,000 mAh, about 2 h (Unitree) 3–5 h, quick-release (EngineAI)
Base price from $13,500 excl. tax and shipping (Unitree) not published; 180,000 yuan for the basic version (Shenzhen government-hosted report, 5 Dec 2025)
Used by REK since REK 0, Sep 2025 REK 2, Aug 2026

REK values each of its T800s at $100,000 and calls them the only T800s in the US, according to Mike Kalil; these are company claims without independent confirmation. The same author reports production units closer to 1.5 m tall, which contradicts EngineAI's 173 cm. Further robots in REK's orbit: the Unitree H1 was used for early teleoperation tests (Reflex Arc), and REK's shop lists an EngineAI PM01 "Battle Born Edition" (2 units, described as heavily used in combat), a Unitree R1 and a Booster K1, all with "price on request".

Modification register

Only modifications with a written source. "Confirmed" means a reputable source states it; "company claim" means only REK says so; "unconfirmed" means a single weak source or an inference.

What a fight-ready setup costs

There is no complete price, and we do not estimate one. What is published:

  • Robot: the G1 from $13,500 excluding tax and shipping (Unitree); the T800 at 180,000 yuan (about $25,000) for the basic version according to the Shenzhen report, with other configurations priced individually. Prices in Europe are on “Humanoid robot fighting in Europe”.
  • Modifications: armour, blades and software are not priced anywhere.
  • Booking a show: REK lists private events at $10,000 (three G1 fights) and $20,000 (two G1 fights and a T800 finale) on its private fights page.
  • Buying or renting at REK: the shop shows six robots, all "price on request"; rental prices are not published. According to the SF Standard REK has scaled back retail and now focuses on entertainment, citing US restrictions on foreign-made robots.

The background on the league, its rules and the legal dispute is on “Humanoid robot fighting”.

Frequently asked questions

Does REK publish official fight results?

No. On 15 October 2026 REK's site showed only totals and one winning pilot per event, plus videos. Per-fight results exist only scattered across news reports and blogs, which is why this table names a source for every row and marks contradictions.

Who has won the most REK events?

Hiroyuki Osone from Japan, named by REK as the winner of both REK Tokyo (25 July 2026) and REK 2 (15 August 2026). No other pilot is named for more than one event.

Did the human or the robot win on 18 September 2026?

The sources contradict each other. REK and SFGATE describe two wins out of three for Frankie LaPenna, while Gadget Review and SFist describe a win for the robots. We list the result as disputed until REK publishes an official result.

Which robot appears most often in REK fights?

In the bouts we could document, the Unitree G1 and the EngineAI T800 each appear in four bouts. The G1 dominated the early events (REK 0, REK 1), the T800 the larger shows since REK 2 in August 2026.

What does a fight-ready humanoid robot cost?

Only the base prices are published: the Unitree G1 from $13,500 excluding tax and shipping according to Unitree, the T800 basic version at 180,000 yuan according to a Shenzhen government-hosted report. REK does not publish the cost of armour, blades or software, and its own shop lists every robot as 'price on request'.
