Summary

Six hundred kilograms of payload at up to 2 m/s: that is how Denmark's MiR describes the MiR600, an AMR from its family aimed at moving pallets in factories and warehouses. The official specification sheet gives the dimensions outright: length 1350 mm, width 910 mm, height 322 mm and weight 240 kg. Only the battery capacity in Wh and the price remain unpublished. Navigation relies on laser scanners and 3D cameras, with no need for floor markers, which sets MiR apart from older AGV systems that follow magnetic tape.

Within its own portfolio the MiR600 fills the gap between the MiR250 (250 kg) and the MiR1350 (1,350 kg), and on the market it competes with the Omron LD-450, a model of similar payload class that also has no public price list. Its strength is the combination of 2 m/s speed with a relatively high payload, which translates into higher logistics throughput than lighter platforms from the same brand. Its weakness is the lack of price transparency typical of the segment: a purchase decision requires a quote from an integrator rather than a comparison of online price lists. In Poland, MiR robots are sold by several certified industrial automation integrators, though a specific dealer for the MiR600 has not been confirmed.

Running and deployment costs

The price of the MiR600 is not public; the manufacturer offers only an ROI calculator and refers buyers to its sales network. Without a quote we can give only an order of magnitude, as an estimate: general market ranges for AMRs are USD 50,000-250,000, and USD 85,000-150,000 for the heavy class (an industry source, not model data). A Polish market overview puts the lighter MiR250 at PLN 120,000-200,000 (≈ EUR 27,500–45,830 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026), so the MiR600 will come in higher. Add to the robot's price fleet software (PLN 80,000-300,000 (≈ EUR 18,330–68,740) or a subscription, per the Polish overview), integration with WMS/MES (PLN 50,000-250,000 (≈ EUR 11,460–57,290)), charging stations (PLN 15,000-40,000 (≈ EUR 3,440–9,170)), and training and service. Tax relief: “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief” (Poland's robotization tax relief, ulga na robotyzację) allows an additional 50% deduction of qualifying costs, provided the equipment meets the definition of an "industrial robot"; its continuation beyond 2026 depends on an announced amendment, so confirm with an adviser. You will find the calculation method in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications

What it's for

600 kilograms at speeds of up to 2 m/s: those are the numbers that make the MiR600 the pallet "workhorse" of the MiR family. The official datasheet gives dimensions of 1350×910×322 mm and a weight of 240 kg. The robot drives itself using laser scanners and 3D cameras, so it needs no floor markers, which sets it apart from older AGVs on magnetic tape. In practice it moves pallets between fixed points in a plant without building conveyors. Its higher speed compared with the heavier MiR1350 gives greater throughput, with less waiting for the next pallet. The lighter MiR250, by contrast, carries smaller loads but cannot lift a pallet of heavy goods. The MiR600 works well in a mixed fleet alongside them. See what this segment looks like at “AMR Robots in the Warehouse” and mobile robots; industries: factories, warehouses.

Typical applications

  • Pallet transport up to 600 kg

Who it's for

The MiR600 is for plants and warehouses where many pallets travel between fixed points every day and forklift drivers are a resource that is always in short supply. It fits well in mid-size factories where routes run several hundred meters over a level floor.

It is not for companies that move loads lighter than 250 kg; there the MiR250 will be cheaper and more agile. It is not suited to places without orderly traffic, where the robot would constantly yield to people. And don't buy it on the spec sheet alone: the manufacturer publishes neither a price nor the battery capacity in Wh, so a decision requires a quote and a pilot on your own hall.

Deployments

For the MiR600 there are no confirmed, named deployments. In Poland, MiR robots are sold by several certified industrial automation integrators, but a specific dealer for the MiR600 has not been confirmed, so there are no confirmed deployments in Poland for this model. For the MiR family as a whole, the manufacturer lists Cummins, DENSO and Faurecia (transport between operations), and the lighter MiR100 and MiR250 work in Polish plants and logistics centers. Ask the integrator for a reference visit.

Comparison

The manufacturer names the Omron LD-450 as a rival; the only model from that family in our catalog is the lighter Omron LD-60/90 from Omron Robotics. The direct counterpart in the 600 kg class is the KUKA KMP 600P from KUKA, often chosen where a plant already runs KUKA robots. If you need more payload, look at the AGILOX ONE (1,000 kg), which works as a swarm without a central server, or at the MiR1350 in the same family. At the other end of the scale is the AGILOX ODM (300 kg), sensible when 600 kg is more headroom than you need. With loads close to 600 kg the robot's dimensions (1350×910×322 mm) and speed of up to 2 m/s also matter; compatibility with your existing fleet and integrator availability will settle the rest.

History

Denmark's MiR was founded in 2013 in Odense and now belongs to Teradyne Robotics, the same group as Universal Robots. The MiR600 is the middle model of the three platforms described here, alongside the MiR250 and MiR1350, out of seven in the full range. No launch date has been published, and there are no recorded milestones tied to this model, so we won't invent a history. What is known is that the robot runs the same fleet software as the rest of the family.
