The smallest of the three KUKA transport platforms covered here, the KMP 600P was designed for tight, crowded production halls. At just 27 cm tall, with a differential drive, it turns in a smaller radius than the omnidirectional KMP 3000P, at the cost of a lower payload of up to 600 kg. It is the pick for plants where maneuverability between assembly lines matters more than maximum load capacity.
Like the larger KMP models, the platform charges inductively and is built for continuous 24/7 operation. KUKA does not publish a price; as with most industrial AMRs, you need an individual quote that depends on fleet size and integration with the traffic-management system. Among compact AMRs for in-plant transport, the KMP 600P competes with mobile logistics platforms from other makers.
KUKA's pitch is consistency with its own industrial-robot ecosystem, which can be an advantage for companies that already run KUKA arms, and less so for those building a fleet from scratch with several suppliers. The model is available in Poland through KUKA Polska Sp. z o.o. It suits series production with limited room to maneuver.

Running and deployment costs
The manufacturer does not publish a price for the KMP 600P, as is the case with most industrial AMRs; quotes are individual and depend on fleet size and integration with the traffic-management system. For that reason we do not give a figure. As a rough estimate, the cost of the whole project, not just the platform, tends to be clearly higher than the price of a single vehicle, because mapping, software, commissioning and possibly charging infrastructure are added; that is an order of magnitude, not a KUKA figure. Operator and maintenance training is worth planning as part of the deployment package. Inductive charging reduces downtime costs but requires infrastructure. Service in Poland is provided by KUKA Polska. We work out the payback the way it is done in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”, and the possible tax relief is described in “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”.

Applications
What it's for
The KUKA KMP 600P is only 27 cm tall (980 × 686 × 270 mm) and uses a differential drive, so it fits where bigger platforms can't go, while carrying up to 600 kg. It charges inductively and is designed for continuous operation. In series production the job is simple: take work-in-progress from one station and deliver it to the next, see factories. In plants with many assembly stations, the platform replaces the employee who used to circle the halls with a cart. In electronics or household-appliance plants, which suit this load class, maneuverability counts for more than maximum payload; that is a statement about the class, though, not a confirmed deployment. Compared with the omnidirectional KUKA KMP 3000P, the turning radius is tighter, at the expense of payload. If you want to understand how an AMR is chosen for a given hall layout, read “AMR Robots in the Warehouse”. For work in narrow aisles, safety scanners are used, for example from SICK or Hokuyo.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Makes sense for: plants where maneuverability between assembly lines matters more than maximum payload. Who it is for: companies already using KUKA arms, since a single ecosystem simplifies integration. Who it is for: buyers who want local service, as the distributor is KUKA Polska Sp. z o.o. Who it is not for: companies building a fleet from scratch with many suppliers that want open interchange of components. Who it is not for: light logistics, where a cheaper AMR with a 90 kg payload is enough, such as Omron LD-60/90. Who it is not for: plants moving loads above 600 kg. Before you request a quote, read “How to Read a Robot Datasheet”.
Deployments
The model is available in Poland through KUKA Polska Sp. z o.o., but we have no named deployments, so: no confirmed deployments in Poland. No specific plants abroad are named by a reliable source either. Other systems in the AMR category are at work in Poland, described in “AMR Robots in the Warehouse” and in the category “Mobile robots (AMR)”.
Comparison
The biggest sibling is the KUKA KMP 1500P, which carries 1.5 t and also charges inductively; choose it when your loads grow. Among competitors with a similar payload, the MiR600 carries 600 kg at 2 m/s and is the middle platform in the MiR family; price on request, availability in Poland unconfirmed. A third, lighter option is the Omron LD-60/90, with 60 and 90 kg variants plus a safety laser and sonar, for smaller transport jobs. For a comparison with swarm-based systems, look at the AGILOX ONE (1,000 kg), which has a Polish distributor. You will find all of them in the category “Mobile robots (AMR)”.

History
The KMP 600P is the smallest of the three KMP platforms we describe. We found no launch date for it, so we do not state one. From the surrounding range we know that in June 2023 KUKA introduced the mid-size KMP 1500P, and that the heaviest model, the KUKA KMP 3000P, completes the family. KUKA is a German maker of industrial robots; we do not confirm details of its founding or headquarters. See also the manufacturer page KUKA.
