The AGILOX ODM is a compact AMR transport robot with a payload of up to 300 kg, offered by Austria's AGILOX Automation GmbH, which has been on the market since 2015. The model uses the company's own X-SWARM swarm control system, in which the robots communicate directly with one another without a central master computer.
This sets AGILOX apart from competing AMR platforms built on centralized fleet management, such as MiR or Omron. The drive is fully electric, and the ODM is best suited to moving smaller loads in confined production space. The manufacturer does not publish a price or detailed data on height, weight or range; you have to get that from the distributor.
In Poland the robot is offered by ASTOR Sp. z o.o., an authorized AGILOX distributor, which also runs the ASTOR Robotics Center showroom in Krakow. The model is on sale, but without a disclosed price it is hard to compare its cost directly with the competition, so it needs an individual quote.
The ODM will work best in production plants looking for flexible internal transport without investing in centralized fleet-control infrastructure.

Running and deployment costs
The ODM's price is not in any public source; the manufacturer does not disclose it, so we quote no figure. As a market reference point, the Pudu T300 (300 kg) costs PLN 67,527 (≈ EUR 15,450 at NBP rate 4.3716 of 20 October 2026). Our rough estimate is that an AMR with a similar payload, a safety system and integration comes to anywhere from several tens of thousands to well over a hundred thousand zlotys per unit, but for the ODM that is our estimate, not an ASTOR offer.
Deployment costs roughly include hall mapping, integration with the transport-order system, charging stations and training. X-SWARM works without a central server, so you do not pay for a second layer of control infrastructure, an argument the manufacturer stresses.
Running costs are electricity, inspections and replacement of worn parts. Training roughly covers two or three maintenance staff and an internal-transport planner; usually days, not weeks.
Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację): if the company meets the conditions, it can deduct an additional 50% of qualifying costs; the interpretation for AMRs is sometimes disputed, so check “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief” and consult an advisor. We describe how to calculate total cost in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications
What it's for
The AGILOX ODM is a compact AMR transport robot with a payload of up to 300 kg, offered by Austria's AGILOX Automation, which has been operating since 2015; it carries crates of parts from the store by the hall to the assembly stations. The drive is fully electric, and the fleet is run by the X-SWARM system, in which the robots communicate directly with each other, with no central master computer.
One application is listed: compact transport of small loads. The target groups are industry and manufacturing.
In a factory the ODM carries part bins, semi-finished goods and tools between stations where space is limited and aisles are narrow. In a warehouse it can feed production lines and move smaller load units between zones. The manufacturer does not give height, weight or range, so we do not know whether the robot will fit under a particular rack or through a particular door. That is the first question for the distributor.
The practical benefit of swarm navigation is that growing the fleet with more units does not require rebuilding the control infrastructure. By comparison, competing AMR platforms such as MiR or Omron usually rely on centralized fleet management. For a general picture of this class of robot, see the article “AMR Robots in the Warehouse”.
Typical applications
Who it's for
A good fit: production plants looking for flexible internal transport of smaller loads that do not want to invest in a centralized fleet-control system. Companies that start with two or three robots and want to add more gradually. Buyers who value local support: in Poland the robot is offered by ASTOR Sp. z o.o., with a showroom in Krakow.
Not a good choice for: plants moving full pallets. Up to 300 kg is too little, so reach for the AGILOX OCF (1,500 kg). Order-picking warehouses where the robot has to walk along with a worker through the aisles; that kind of task is handled by robots such as the Locus Origin. Companies that want to start from a list price: you cannot avoid an individual quote. Buyers who want full technical data before a conversation: height, weight and range have to come from the distributor.
Deployments
What we do have is a confirmed sales channel: ASTOR Sp. z o.o. is the authorized AGILOX distributor and runs the "ASTOR Robotics Center" showroom in Krakow. It is a good place to see the robot in action before deciding.
Worldwide, the manufacturer names Siemens, BMW, Bosch and Daimler as customers; those figures cover the whole range, not only the ODM. For context on the category: other brands also offer light AMRs in Poland, including the Pudu T300 and MiR models. We have gathered information on who does robotics in Poland in the text “Polish Robotics Companies”.
Comparison
The closest in function is the MiR250: an AMR rated to 250 kg, with a dead weight of 94 kg and the price on request from MiR. MiR is widely known, but unlike AGILOX it uses centralized fleet management, according to the description we have.
The Pudu T300 carries 300 kg like the ODM, complies with ISO 3691-4, drives without predefined routes, and its price is PLN 67,527 (≈ EUR 15,450). It is available in Poland, though the price is worth confirming with the distributor. It is the only one of these options where you can see the price straight away.
From its own family you can pick the AGILOX ONE if the ODM turns out to be too small, or the AGILOX OCF for heavy pallets.
For order picking in a warehouse the Locus Origin takes a different approach: a 36 kg payload and a RaaS (robots-as-a-service) subscription model. It is a different class of task, but is often considered alongside transport AMRs.

History
AGILOX Automation GmbH of Leonding, Austria, has existed since 2015. The company built its position on the swarm concept: the robots cooperate without a central computer, and the fleet grows by adding units. The manufacturer touts fast charging of its LiFePO4 batteries in as little as about 3 minutes and claims more than 2,000 AMRs deployed worldwide. The ODM is the smallest of the four models we cover (alongside the OCF, OFL and ONE), intended for lighter loads. We have no launch date or later generations for it, so we give no versions. In Poland it has been officially available since 2024, when ASTOR Sp. z o.o. took over distribution.
