Summary

The Galaxea R1 Pro is an expanded variant of the R1 humanoid platform from the Chinese manufacturer Galaxea AI (Galaxea Dynamics), designed for research labs and industrial applications. The robot stands 200 cm tall, has 26 degrees of freedom (DOF) and an arm payload of up to 10 kg.

Each of the two seven-axis arms reaches 64 cm, and the design lets the robot both touch the floor and straighten up to full height. Perception is handled by 7 HD cameras, 1 LiDAR, a wrist camera and joint force sensors, and computing is done by an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32 GB (200 TOPS).

Control is mainly through isomorphic (VR) teleoperation: an operator wearing a headset steers the arms almost one to one, which makes the R1 Pro a platform for collecting training data for manipulation models rather than a fully autonomous robot. Compared with the base Galaxea R1, the Pro variant offers longer arm reach and a higher payload, at the cost of a heavier upper body.

Against the Unitree G1 it does worse on mobility, since the R1 Pro moves on a wheeled base rather than walking on two legs, but it has an advantage in manipulation precision thanks to its force sensors. In Poland no distributor offers the robot; it is available only through direct contact with the manufacturer in China.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Galaxea R1 Pro available in Poland?

No. The manufacturer Galaxea AI (China) names no Polish shop or official distributor for the Galaxea R1 Pro; enquiries go through the manufacturer's website (galaxea.ai). Confirm service in Poland before buying.

Can I buy the Galaxea R1 Pro in Poland?

No. The robot has no distributor in Poland and is available only through direct contact with Galaxea AI in China.

Does the R1 Pro walk on two legs?

No, it moves on a wheeled base rather than bipedally like the Unitree G1 or the Figure 02.

What is the R1 Pro used for?

It is a research platform for isomorphic (VR) teleoperation and for collecting training data for manipulation models, used in labs and industry.
