Summary

Galaxea AI premiered NEXO on 24 August 2026 at the World Robot Conference as its new-generation wheeled dual-arm robot. The press release lists 30 degrees of freedom distributed across the arms, shoulder and neck, waist and torso, and the chassis, a combined two-arm payload of up to 20 kg, and eight hours of runtime.

Energy can be replenished in three ways: fast charging, swapping the battery pack, or letting the robot dock and recharge autonomously. Galaxea also highlights whole-body force sensing described as high-precision, meant for careful handling of goods. Target markets named by the company are e-commerce, manufacturing, express delivery and services.

No height, weight or computing platform has been published, and the maker's website carries no product page yet; everything known comes from the August 2026 announcements in Chinese press and the company's own release. The status is therefore prototype, and the price is on request.

NEXO complements the earlier wheeled Galaxea R1 family and the legged Kengo in the Galaxea line-up, giving the company a mobile manipulator with a higher payload for warehouse and factory floors.
