Kengo
With Kengo, Beijing-based Galaxea AI steps from wheeled platforms such as Galaxea R1 Pro into legged humanoids. The design philosophy is reduction: every joint of the robot uses one of only two standardized actuator modules, and the knee delivers more than 130 N·m. The maker's product page gives 139.6 cm height, roughly 40 kg including the battery, 23 or more degrees of freedom, a 2 kg arm payload and about two hours of operation.

Other figures circulate online (170 cm, 65 kg, 32 degrees of freedom), but Galaxea does not publish them, so buyers should rely on the official sheet. Control runs on Galaxea's own G0.5 embodied foundation model; a handheld controller ships with the robot and software arrives through over-the-air updates.
Although Galaxea calls Kengo commercial-ready, the status is still prototype: the web shop shows a placeholder price and states that the robot cannot be bought directly, with enquiries handled by e-mail. Kengo was introduced in 2026 and listed in the company's World Robot Conference press release of August 2026 as part of its line-up. Intended users are research groups, factories and hospitality businesses.
