Summary
Among the iisy family of cobots KUKA presents, the 11 R1300 is the model for heavier tasks: 11 kg payload at 1300 mm reach, 0.05 mm repeatability and a maximum speed of 430 degrees per second. The six-axis arm with torque sensors goes mainly into palletizing and machine tending, jobs where gripping strength matters more than micron-level precision.
The robot is also available in an ISO 3 cleanroom variant, which widens its use beyond standard production to pharma and electronics. Next to the smaller models in the same family, the iisy 3 R760 (3 kg) and the iisy 15 R930 (15 kg, the highest payload), the 11 R1300 offers a compromise between reach and load capacity.
KUKA does not publish a price, and the sources give no specific figure, which makes it hard to compare costs with competing cobots in the same payload class. The model is officially available in Poland through the distributor zapamet.pl, which gives you a local sales contact, though it is no substitute for a public price list.
The iisy 11 R1300 is an option for plants planning heavier palletizing automation that are prepared to negotiate the price individually.

Running and deployment costs
KUKA does not publish a price for the iisy 11 R1300, and the sources give no specific figure. The only reference point we have is the neighboring model: the iisy 6 R1300 costs €28,085 net according to the catalog (about PLN 122,928). As a rough estimate the iisy 11 will cost more, but we do not give a range because it is not confirmed. On top of the arm you need to add a gripper, a base or workstation, guarding and integration; palletizing usually adds a pallet-feeding setup as well. This is an indicative order of magnitude, not a manufacturer figure. Operator training usually takes a few days and programmer training longer; the distributor zapamet.pl can present the exact scope. We calculate return on investment the way it is done in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”, and Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację) is described in “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”.

Applications
What it's for
The KUKA LBR iisy 11 R1300 is a cobot built for the heavier tasks in the iisy family: 11 kg payload, 1300 mm reach, 0.05 mm repeatability and a maximum speed of 430°/s. The six-axis arm with torque sensors goes mainly into palletizing and machine tending, places where gripping strength matters more than micron-level precision. On a factory floor, set up by a conveyor, it stacks finished products or feeds parts to a press, see factories. In a logistics center it can palletize lighter packaging, see warehouses. The robot is also available in an ISO 3 cleanroom variant, which opens the way to pharma and electronics, places where not every cobot can go; see laboratories. Choose a gripper from makers such as OnRobot or Robotiq, after checking compatibility with the iisy. Safety when working alongside people is covered by the standards described in “Robot Safety Standards”. One limitation: with the heaviest parts and higher dynamics, remember that the gripper's own mass counts against the payload.
Typical applications
Who it's for
A good fit: plants planning heavier palletizing and machine-tending automation that want a local contact; the distributor in Poland is zapamet.pl. Who it is for: companies looking for a compromise between reach and load capacity, since the 11 R1300 sits in the middle of the iisy family. Who it is for: industries with cleanliness requirements, thanks to the ISO 3 variant. Who it is not for: anyone who wants to compare against a public price list, because KUKA does not publish one. Who it is not for: jobs above 11 kg (the gripper counts toward the payload), where the KUKA LBR iisy 15 R930 or a larger cobot will be the better fit. Who it is not for: companies seeking the cheapest entry point, since a cobot in this class needs an individual quote. Before you start, read “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.
Deployments
The model is officially available in Poland through the distributor zapamet.pl, but we have no named deployments, so: no confirmed deployments in Poland in the form of references you can check. Abroad we cannot name plants either, since we have no reliable source. Other suppliers and integrators are active in the Polish cobot category; you will find an overview in cobots and in the article “Polish Robotics Companies”.
Comparison
The KUKA LBR iisy 15 R930 has the highest payload in the family (15 kg) but a shorter reach of 930 mm, so choose it when parts are heavier and the cell is smaller. The KUKA LBR iisy 6 R1300 has the same 1300 mm reach but a 6 kg payload and a list price of €28,085 net, a good reference point for the cost of the whole family. Beyond KUKA: the UR10e, with the distributor elmark.com.pl, priced at around €36,000 according to our catalog, and the FANUC CRX-10iA, with the distributor spawalnictwo.pl. For fast motion, take a look at the ABB SWIFTI CRB 1300, with a speed of 6.2 m/s and an 11 kg payload. You will find an overview of the models in the category “Cobots”.

History
KUKA presented the LBR iisy family of cobots in June 2022, as confirmed by the company's press release, and the 11 R1300 belongs to that same line. It is a newer, easier-to-use series than the seven-axis LBR iiwa, sold since 2014, listed here as the KUKA LBR iiwa 14 R820. The iisy range comprises models with payloads of 3, 6, 8, 11 and 15 kg, and the 11 R1300 sits in the middle. We do not give a more precise market-launch date, because the sources do not settle it beyond the year 2022. Profile of the manufacturer: KUKA.
