Summary

The Elfin E15 is the highest-payload model in Han's Robot's Elfin series: 18 kg with 6 degrees of freedom, against 12 kg for the smaller E10 in the same family. Its working reach is 1300 mm, the same as the lighter E10-L variant (10 kg payload at the same reach), so despite the payload gap there is no difference in reach between the two.

Across the Elfin series, 1300 mm is a medium-to-long reach; only the E12 (1800 mm) offers more. That makes the E15 suitable both for tasks that need strength, such as palletizing or moving heavy parts, and for applications with a standard working envelope, rather than only short distances. Like the rest of the series, the robot uses Han's Robot's own two-joint design with proprietary gearboxes and drives.

The available sources contain no information on the E15's price or its presence on the Polish market; as with the E10, commercial data is unavailable. The strength of the model is the highest payload in the Elfin line combined with a solid 1300 mm reach; the weakness is a total lack of pricing or distribution data for Poland.

Running and deployment costs

The E15's price is not known: the manufacturer does not publish it, and the available sources contain no figure.

For comparison, a cobot from the 10-12 kg class, the UR10e, costs PLN 159,645.00 (≈ EUR 36,580 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026) in our catalog. As a rough estimate, a 15 kg Chinese arm should be cheaper than European brands, but that is a hypothesis, not documentation. On top of the arm you add a gripper (often vacuum for palletizing), fences or safety scanners, a pallet station, programming and training. A breakdown of such costs over time is in “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”; for larger investments it is also worth calculating the payback using the method in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację, “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”) lets you deduct an additional 50% of eligible costs, currently through the end of 2026, with an announced extension whose status must be checked before purchase.

Applications

What it's for

The Elfin E15 is a Han's Robot cobot with an 18 kg payload, six axes, a weight of 60 kg and a 1300 mm reach; according to the series description it is the most powerful model in the Elfin family. The manufacturer aims it at palletizing and handling heavy parts.

Short-distance palletizing is the typical scenario: the robot stacks sacks, cartons or crates on a pallet while an operator swaps pallets and watches the process (factories). The second use is material handling, feeding heavy parts to a machine tool or presses, where 15 kg with the gripper is often the threshold at which smaller cobots stop being enough. Thanks to its 1300 mm reach, the E15 can serve both stations that demand strength and those with a standard working envelope.

One thing to remember: the 15 kg payload covers the load and the gripper combined. With a heavier tool the effective payload drops, so always count the real weight of the end effector. This is exactly the kind of calculation we discuss in “How to Read a Robot Datasheet”.

The robot uses Han's Robot's own two-joint design with proprietary gearboxes and drives. If you are wondering why not every cobot can simply be "dropped into" palletizing, see [[wiedza:cobot-czy-robot-przemysłowy]]. A design curiosity: what determines the stiffness of an arm is its gearing, and we write about that family in the supplier profile Harmonic Drive.

  • Material handling

Who it's for

Yes: for plants that need a higher-payload cobot for palletizing, machine loading or moving heavy parts while keeping safe collaboration with people. Also for integrators who build palletizing cells and compare cheaper Chinese arms with European brands.

No: for companies looking for a cobot for fast palletizing of heavy goods (20-30 kg); there you are better off with the UR20 or a larger arm. Not for users who care about a price in zloty and local support today: there is no price list, and no Polish distributor has been confirmed. Not for companies without a risk assessment, since palletizing with a heavier load requires an analysis in line with “Robot Safety Standards”. If you are unsure which cobot to choose, “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step” will help.

Deployments

The manufacturer points to palletizing and handling heavy parts as the natural field of work but does not disclose customers. If you want to see what cobot palletizing looks like in Polish factories, look at the category “Cobots” and the UR comparison in “Universal Robots UR5e, UR10e and UR20 Compared”, which covers models with local service.

Comparison

If you need 15 kg or more, the choice is wide:

UR15 is Universal Robots' fastest cobot (5 m/s) with a 15-17.5 kg payload; available in Poland through elmark.com.pl.

UR20 offers a 20 kg payload and a 1750 mm reach, for palletizing and welding; available in Poland, price on request. Pick it if 15 kg is not enough (comparison: “Universal Robots UR5e, UR10e and UR20 Compared”).

Doosan M1509 has a 15 kg payload with a 900 mm reach; available in Poland through coboty-doosan.pl, individual pricing. A shorter reach than the E15, but local support.

KUKA LBR iisy 15 R930 is the largest in the iisy family (15 kg, 930 mm); available in Poland (zapamet.pl), price undisclosed. All four have distribution or support available in Poland, so they differ mainly in reach, speed and the ecosystem of accessories, and it is usually the ecosystem that decides how long it takes to commission a palletizer.

History

The E15 is the highest-payload model in the Elfin family from Han's Robot, a subsidiary of Shenzhen-based Han's Laser. We have no launch date or numbered generations, so we do not give them. The family runs from the E3 (4 kg) to the E15 (15 kg); according to the series description, only the E12 (1800 mm) has a longer reach than the E15. The common trait is the in-house design of gearboxes and drives. You will find the company profile on the page Han's Robot, and the smaller models, Han's Robot Elfin E10 and Han's Robot Elfin E3, show how the series scales up.
