Summary

The AGILOX OCF is a counterbalance pallet stacker in the AMR (autonomous mobile robot) class, built to move loads of up to 1,500 kg. That payload puts it well above typical transport AMRs such as the MiR, which are usually designed for lighter loads. Fleet coordination is handled by AGILOX's own X-SWARM system, a decentralized architecture with no central control computer.

It is a hallmark of the whole range from Austria's AGILOX Automation, which is also known for fast-charging LiFePO4 batteries (in as little as about 3 minutes). On agilox.net the manufacturer claims more than 2,000 AMRs deployed worldwide, at customers such as Siemens, BMW, Bosch and Daimler, a sign of a mature platform.

In Poland the robot is officially available: since 2024 the authorized distributor has been ASTOR Sp. z o.o. (the manufacturer does not describe ASTOR as exclusive), which also runs the ASTOR Robotics Center showroom in Krakow. That is a rare situation in this segment, where most competing models have no confirmed distribution in Poland. Strength: high payload and a proven swarm architecture.

Weakness: no public price and no runtime data for this model. A good fit for industrial plants and warehouses moving heavy pallets that want a proven supplier with local service support.

Running and deployment costs

The OCF's price is not public, so we do not quote a figure. It is not listed by either the manufacturer or the Polish distributor. As a reference point, the light Pudu T300 AMR (300 kg) costs PLN 67,527 (≈ EUR 15,470 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026), but a heavy pallet truck with a safety system is in a different league. Our rough estimate is that a single unit in this class runs to several hundred thousand zlotys, but that is our assessment based on the class of machine, not an ASTOR offer.

Deployment costs would roughly cover mapping the plant, integration with the warehouse system, charging zones and the required safeguards. Because the system is decentralized you do not pay for a central fleet server, which is a plus, but it also means the IT responsibility sits with the user. Running costs are energy, servicing and periodic replacement of tires and batteries.

Training covers forklift operators, maintenance staff and the person responsible for the fleet: roughly a few days. Safety rules are covered in the article “Robot Safety Standards”.

Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację): the condition is the purchase of brand-new equipment and an investment in production robotization; 2026 is the last year it applies in its current legal form. Whether an AMR meets the definition depends on interpretation, so check “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief” and consult an advisor. For how to calculate payback, see “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications

What it's for

The AGILOX OCF is a counterbalance pallet stacker in the AMR (autonomous mobile robot) class from Austria's AGILOX Automation, meant for moving heavy pallets from the line to the shipping area. The manufacturer quotes a payload of up to 1,500 kg and a speed of up to 1.4 m/s. The drive is electric, and the fleet is run by the X-SWARM system: the vehicles communicate with each other without a central computer, so adding another unit does not require a bigger server.

In a factory the OCF carries heavy pallets between production stations, the semi-finished goods store and the shipping area, wherever the route repeats and the load is heavy. In a warehouse it suits moving pallets over longer distances and feeding production lines. In retail it could serve a retail chain's central warehouses, but that use is not backed by a confirmed deployment.

Only one application is listed: a counterbalance pallet truck for heavy loads. We have no data on the robot's height, weight or battery runtime for this model. The company touts fast charging of its LiFePO4 batteries in general, in as little as about 3 minutes, according to AGILOX's product description, but without confirmation that it applies to the OCF specifically, so ask about it when you request a quote. For an overview of the whole class of mobile robots, see the article “AMR Robots in the Warehouse”.

Typical applications

  • counterbalance pallet truck, heavy loads

Who it's for

Best suited to: industrial plants and warehouses that regularly move heavy pallets along fixed routes, have the resources for a rollout and want a local partner. In Poland that partner is ASTOR Sp. z o.o., the authorized distributor with a showroom in Krakow, so you can see the robot before buying. It also suits companies that want to build up in stages: the swarm architecture lets you start with a few units.

A poor fit: small firms with a single pallet a day, where the cost of deployment will not pay back. Not for light loads either: up to 300 kg the compact AGILOX ODM is enough, and for a few dozen kilograms smaller machines will do. Not for sites with very narrow racking aisles, where an autonomous forklift such as the AGILOX OFL is the better choice. And not for buyers who want to know the price up front: the OCF is priced individually.

Deployments

We know that ASTOR runs a showroom in Krakow and is the official distributor, but we have no reliable source listing Polish plants that use this model, so we name no one. By its own figures ASTOR serves more than 9,000 companies; that does not mean all of them use AGILOX.

Worldwide, the manufacturer claims more than 2,000 AMRs deployed at customers such as Siemens, BMW, Bosch and Daimler; those figures cover the whole range, not only the OCF. For context on the category: heavy pallet AMRs are also offered by Omron (HD-1500) and OTTO Motors (OTTO 1500). We cover domestic availability in the overview “Polish Robotics Companies”.

Comparison

The closest option in the same portfolio is the AGILOX OFL, an autonomous forklift with independently controlled forks. Choose it if you need to put pallets away on racking rather than just move them across the floor.

Among competitors with a similar payload is the Omron HD-1500, a Japanese pallet AMR rated to 1,500 kg, with no weight or price given. If you need still more, the OTTO 1500 carries up to 1,900 kg at 2 m/s and runs up to 10 hours on a battery, though it weighs 627 kg.

For lighter loads, a good reference point is the MiR600 (up to 600 kg, 2 m/s, price on request), and lighter still the MiR250 at up to 250 kg. If 1,500 kg is more than you need, start with those and compare the cost per pallet.

History

AGILOX Automation GmbH of Leonding, Austria, has been operating since 2015. Among its customers the manufacturer names Siemens, BMW, Bosch and Daimler, and on agilox.net it claims more than 2,000 AMRs deployed worldwide. In Poland the robot has been offered since 2024 by ASTOR Sp. z o.o., which runs the "ASTOR Robotics Center" showroom in Krakow. For the OCF itself we have no launch date or recorded generations, so we give no version numbers. What we do know is that the model is on sale and that its distinguishing feature is the counterbalance design, which allows it to carry 1,500 kg. The AGILOX family comprises four models: OCF, ODM, OFL and AGILOX ONE.
