Summary

Techman Robot, the Taiwanese cobot maker, chose NVIDIA GTC in March 2026 to present its first humanoid, the TM Xplore I. The design pairs a humanoid upper body with a wheeled base, and computing runs on an NVIDIA Jetson Thor module. A vision-language-action model trained with NVIDIA Isaac GR00T controls the robot, while a digital twin built in Isaac Sim supports development.

Depth perception comes from NVIDIA FoundationStereo stereo estimation combined with the TM AI Vision cameras familiar from Techman's arms. In the demonstration on 18 March 2026 the robot took orders and delivered coasters; the intended fields are semiconductor manufacturing, electronics assembly and automotive production, the same industries in which Techman already sells cobots.

Height, weight, degrees of freedom, payload and runtime have not been disclosed, and figures circulating in third-party databases are not backed by the company's own announcements. The price is on request and the status is prototype.

Another wheeled semi-humanoid built around Jetson Thor is the Japanese ugo Nova, which suggests that this compute platform is becoming a common choice for industrial upper-body robots on wheels.
