Quanta X2 (量子2号)

X Square Robot of Shenzhen is first of all an AI company, and Quanta X2 (量子2号) is the wheeled humanoid it builds around its models. The robot runs on WALL-A, an end-to-end manipulation model that maps images to motion and, according to the maker, has hundreds of billions of parameters, together with the WALL-B world model.

The technical data come from the Chinese product page; the English version of the site shows empty fields. Height is 164 cm, and the total of 62 degrees of freedom includes an optional dexterous hand with 20 degrees of freedom. Each arm carries 6 kg and the base travels at 1 m/s. Weight, battery and runtime are not stated.

Navigation relies on 2D LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, an RGBD camera, a single-point time-of-flight sensor and surround cameras that produce a top-down view. Control covers the whole body, and high-dynamic force control is presented as a safety feature for contact with the surroundings.

The stated capabilities are general-purpose manipulation, tool use and audio-visual interaction, aimed at research, households and logistics.
